Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland has officially entered motherhood after giving birth this week to a baby boy.
According to reports, Rowland and her husband welcomed their first child together Tuesday (November 4).
The singer welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon on Tuesday, Nov. 4, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. Born at 1:30 p.m. PT, son Titan Jewell Witherspoon weighed 7.5 lbs. “We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the Talk a Good Game singer said in a statement. Kelly talked about preparing for motherhood back in September.
“It’s mind-boggling. It’s pretty amazing,” Rowland shared with E! News in September. “Of course you know there’s life before that growing inside of you but then when you actually start feeling these different things happening—the flutters, and kicks and punches—I’m at a loss for words.” (E! Online)
Instead of letting the speculation mount up, Rowland let loose on her child’s sex in August.
When discussing the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards and her #AmpYourFab photo contest with Caress, Kelly Rowland let the news slip that she and husband/manager Tim Witherspoon are expecting a little boy. “We’re very excited,” Kelly told FOX411. “So far, everything has been good.
