R&B singer August Alsina hasn't fully recovered from his recent hospitalization for seizures and alerted fans he could not travel overseas for a weekend concert.
Alsina jumped onto his Twitter page to break the heartbreaking news to United Kingdom fans about missing comedian Kevin Hart‘s “HartBeat Weekend” event.
Apologies to my London/UK fans, @KevinHart4real and #HartBeatWeekend. Docs advised me not to fly, so my performance tomorrow is canceled.

Alsina’s camp also issued a statement to address his condition.
“Due to the well-publicized fall from a stage in New York last month which caused August to be hospitalized for more than a week, his medical team has advised him that it would be unwise to travel such distance so soon into his recovery.” (Billboard)
Last month, reports about how Alsina would recover following a seizure hospitalization emerged.
August Alsina is getting back on the horse — as in, the stage — after severe seizures and a scary fall landed him in a hospital for nearly 2 weeks … the singer thinks he’s ready to go on the road again. August is finally recovering at home in New Orleans … after being released from the hospital earlier this week, but he’ll only have about a month to heal before starting a 27-date tour with Usher on Nov. 1st.
