Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports Star Waves Flag In Lil B Beef: “It’s Starting To Get On My Nerves”

Roc Nation Sports' Kevin Durant isn't losing sleep over West Coast rapper Lil B these days and recently dismissed widespread speculation of them having a rift.

KD said social media pressure has forced him to clear the air on their stance.

“A curse? I keep hearing that,” KD said in an interview when asked about his status with Lil B. “Every time I sign on to Twitter or Instagram, it’s this Lil B stuff coming up. Uh, yeah, I don’t have no problem with Lil B. I guess whatever you guys want to call this. He’s got so many fans, it’s like, it’s starting to get on my nerves. Just to get the people away from me, me and Lil B are cool.” (REVOLT TV)

Earlier this year, the “Based God” clearly warned KD of what’s to come in the near future.

“NBA, swag baby. KD, you can’t see me. Look at Lil B, baby, I’m coming,” B says in an NBA TV promo clip which is preceeded with the words, “HE’S COMING.” (NBA TV)

In March, B touched on where his feud with Durant initially stemmed from.

Your beef with Durant dates back to 2011. How did it start? He talked about me. Before everything, I loved Kevin, but he was never a factor to me and then he talked about me. Oklahoma City Thunder beat writer Darnell Mayberry dished out KD’s stance toward the Based God in March.

“Durant refuses to acknowledge rapper Lil B publicly or give him added attention. Lil B has released several diss tracks about KD,” Mayberry tweeted March 11.

“Durant on Lil B: “I don’t know who that is. Who is that?…He needs some attention, I guess. Whoever that is, he needs some help.”” (Darnell Mayberry’s Twitter)
