New York rapper 50 Cent‘s son Marquise Jackson is clearing things up. The hip-hop newcomer has denied using his new “Different” single to take shots at his pops.
In a new interview, Fif’s mini-me said fans and media are craving for a feud to go down.
“This is not a diss to my father at all. I think they want it to be a diss. People are making it a diss because I guess they want it to be a diss. But it’s not, it’s what goes on in my life. The whole project, of scape, my mixtape that’s coming out is about me escaping from my dad’s shadow. It’s about me escaping from different relationships in my life.” (TMZ)

This week, Marquise shocked hip-hop heads by debuting his new “Different” single.
“Lost my pops, he’s still alive,” raps Jackson. “Growing up, my dad was my superhero,” he says, reflecting on the lyric. “It was like having a father who was Superman, more or less. But then, as I got older, you start realizing things or you start seeing certain patterns and it takes an effect on your relationship with people. That’s what happened with me and my father.” (Rap-Up)

Coincidentally, Marquise recently asked social media followers to stop trying to force a reunion with him and 50.
Back in October, 50 and Marquise traded shots with one another on social media.
