With buzz still flaring over new footage of G-Unit hitting Puerto Rico dropping this week, SOHH hit up 50 Cent protégé Kidd Kidd about experience.
According to Kidd, he got a chance to meet Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez while out there.
“Yeah, I was in the Puerto Rico footage, I was on the stage performing too,” Kidd Kidd told SOHH. “Yeah man, I looked like I had the most fun out there. Ah man, I loved it. I got to see J. Lo. Whew! Whew. Whew. I had to take a moment of silence for that. I got to see J. Lo. Let me say that again. I got to see J. Lo! [laughs] Yeah man, she’s cool peoples. She’s real cool. Puerto Rico was fun, good sights to see.” (SOHH)
He also joked about getting overly excited about packing up for the trip.
“That was actually my first time going out there,” Kidd added. “It was real nice. I didn’t even know that Puerto Rico was part of America. I didn’t even know that. I’m coming through there like, ‘I’ve got my passport and everything.’ I put it all over Instagram and then I got hit with the, ‘You don’t need a passport to go to Puerto Rico.’ I’m like, ‘God d*mn!’ [laughs] Puerto Rico was nice, it was fun. 50’s probably been there a million times. He’s probably been there a million times but not me. [laughs] I knew I was going to enjoy this. For real. I wanted to make the most out of it, for real.” (SOHH)

50 Cent and his G-Unit compadres return today with something new for our viewing pleasures. The fellas recently took a trip down to Puerto Rico for an impromptu, surprise performance in the island nation. Before the fellas hit the stage they allow us to ride shotgun as they ride around the island checking out hot spots, females, and more. Before you know it, 50, Yayo, and the rest of the Unit hit the stage to give the PR fans exactly what they wanted, a dope show packed full of many of their hits. (Stupid Dope)
Last summer, Kidd Kidd talked about linking up with Fif for their “Get Busy” track.
“Me and 50 were together when we recorded this track. We recorded it in New Orleans, because he was filming down here. He films a lot of movies down here, so every time he comes to New Orleans you already know I’m comin’ out and I’m there with him. I’ve seen a studio on a tour bus, but 50 had a studio in his van. That’s something I’ve never seen before. So he travels with that van, and we got together and he pulled up the track. You already know how Fif is with them hooks — he gotta hook like Tyson. I got on there and did my thing of course and he a vet so hear already know what he doin … we had the nice track and it came out like magic.” (SOHH Singled Out)
