A bodyguard for rapper 50 Cent was reportedly arrested on an assault charge this weekend after attacking multiple photographers while the rapper traveled throughout Denmark.
The incident reportedly took place outside of Fif’s hotel.
One of 50 Cent’s bodyguards has been arrested after brutally assaulting a group of photographers who were waiting outside the rapper’s Copenhagen hotel. The shutterbugs were attacked while waiting for Fitty to leave the Skt. Petri Hotel ahead of his performance in the Danish capital. Danish police did not released the bodyguard’s name but confirmed he worked for the bad boy rapper and has been charged with assaulting two photographers. (New York Daily News)
Confirmation on the attack has also been made by Nikoloj Vraa, editor-in-chief for MSN Star Lounge.
I feared for my life,” he said, explaining that he was waiting outside 50’s Skt. Petri Hotel with about “five or six members of the press.” They were waiting for 50 to depart for his concert performance in Copenhagen when all hell broke loose. “One of 50 Cent’s bodyguards came out and told us to leave,” Vraar told RadarOnline.com “The next thing I knew, he grabs my throat and tried to strangle me. He cut off my airway, and I couldn’t breathe. He took my camera and deleted photos. “Hotel security came out and told us to call the police and that is what we did. I think the bodyguard attacked at least 2 other people. The bodyguard was arrested and I was told by the police that he was going to be charged with assault, threats and robbery.” (Radar Online)
Based off further reports, the charges are currently pending.

Last fall, 50 spoke on investing over $1 million a year on security.
“I spend $20,000 a week on security,” he said. “My home is surrounded by cameras. I need surveillance not only to look out for me but also to protect me.” That $1.6 million annual bill for security may be burning a hole in 50 Cent’s pocket, but he is adamant it is absolutely necessary. “You get all these crazy lawsuits and I need cameras to check on things,” he said.
