G-Unit head 50 Cent‘s personal accountant reportedly appeared in court this week to testify about his finances amid a publicized sex tape trial.

According to reports, accountant Mai Pho appeared clueless about the majority of 50’s finances in court Thursday (July 23).

Mai Pho, a certified public accountant for Fitty’s business managers, GSO Business Management, said the rapper’s net worth was $4.3 million before he got socked with a $5 million jury award for posting Lastonia Leviston’s sex tape online without her consent. Pho admitted she’d never met with or spoken to Fitty, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, but revealed that he’d recently sold at least some of his music catalogue for $3 million. During a court appearance in his sex tape trial this week, Fif denied living the lavish life he promotes on social media.

Taking the witness stand in Manhattan Supreme Court, the rapper said his claims about having a fleet of luxury cars on both coasts, loads of bling, and even making a $1.6 million bet on boxer Floyd Mayweather are all bogus. “It’s entertainment,” he said of the lifestyle he portrays in his videos and on social media. (New York Daily News)

A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge ruled last Friday (July 17) for his sex tape case to continue despite Fif publicly filing for bankruptcy earlier in the week.

Friday’s hearing before U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Ann M. Nevins in Hartford was at the request of Leviston’s lawyers, who wanted the punitive damages portion of the civil trial to continue. The jury that heard the sex-tape case will now consider punitive damages Monday. (Hartford Courant)

Fif lost his publicized x-rated case with Leviston earlier this month.

The jurors — 4 women, 2 men — deliberated for just over an hour before awarding Lavonia Leviston $2.5 million in damages for using her image without her permission … and another $2.5 mil for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Leviston’s lawyers argued that the rapper had leaked the tape online as a ploy for publicity, and to diss Ricky Rozay. Fifty never showed up during the trial or even for the verdict. Next week, the jury will decide on punitive damages … so Fifty’s tab could go way up. (TMZ)

  1. Man read her replies to all the questions and you’ll see this is just a chess move . Your accountant doesn’t know

How much you make from power?
Who you sold some of your music to?
How much your house is worth?
18 of 20 mil of your debt comes from 1 lawsuit?
You only owe 1 million dollars on an 18 acre estate that includes a club.
    How much your businesses make?
What you look like because you’ve never met?
How you can continue to afford to pay all your bills on time, even the 30k a month he pays your firm?
He much you’re client is really worth?

    • all his 400 million dollars is overseas banking account that Jewish lawyer tell him some good stuff

      • Shut up …. if anything, he dumped his monies into his businesses because chapter 11 keep creditors from going after business that not solely owned by the debtor (50 has investors in all of the business he is involved in, meaning he’s not the sole owner ) …. chapter 11 is to make creditors come to an agreement on a payment plan and /or reduced payment

    • Ur either his financial adviser or his baby mama. Your involvement with this case is border line obsessive

  2. Actually, the punitive damages havent been ruled on, so he can end up broke and owing her money. Damn she’ll probably get the rest of the catalogue and sell it to the boss. And then the clowning by rich ross will really start.

  3. Lol this what this nigga gets.he shitted on people for years like his old homies like bang em smurf and always shitted on other rappers for being irrelevent and broke. Now look at him what goes around comes back around karma baby!

    • you actually believe this crap? good thing you weren’t one of the jury if you were mr.jackson might have actually gotten away with this, the jurors are smart.

  4. lol, so his money is overseas huh? lol, o.k so the judge creditors and lawyers and the fbi are that dumb but you guys figured it all out. lol like its that easy to move over 50 million dollars out of america. in 2015 mind you with all of these banking regulations, and more countries allowing the u.s to investigate bank fraud and money laundering.

lol, so 50 lying on the stand(perjury), he hid the money(money laundering, wire fraud, tax evasion)
to not pay how much again?? and he’s worth how much again??

some of yall arent even thinking….lol a chess move..

  5. I love this clown gets everythng he deserve. Always been a bitch to me. I never seen the big deal about get rich or die trying. I did however like the massacre. But overall, 50 has been a bitch and made some very stupid decisions. Ross killed his music career. Mfers act like that didnt happen. Glad this shit happened to his hateful ass

  6. I’m having a hard time believe he’s actual broke. 50 seems like the kind of guy that just doesn’t want to pay what he owes so he does anything to avoid it. Like that dude that owes you money in school and you keep asking him for it and he says he doesn’t have it, even though he’s going out to restaurants and driving a gas guzzler..

Man… just pay the money and stop acting like a miser.

  7. If any of you don’t realize that this is complete chess game to allow bankruptcy protection to prolong and mitigate these losses. Bankruptcy is like a box, it takes all the liabilities and debts and shuts them into a box, so that they can be dealt with in an effort to reorganize things. More importantly for someone like 50 it protects him for future losses. If you have a claim against 50 today once that BK is filed, then your claim is placed on stay or a standstill. Its like a fresh start, 50 I am sure has set up his finances is a intelligent way to protect himself from these frivolous law suits, and this is a smart legal move to putt the past in a box and clean the slate for his future endeavors, which if you can’t see are doing very well.

    • this is a chess move?? if you think 50 fukin cent is a better “chess player” than mutha fukers who go after moeny all day every day your wrong homie. if you think 50 is a better “chess player” than a d.a, judge, lawyer, irs, fbi, creditors…who have taken BILLIONS from folks your insane.

so wheres the money? did he hide it..lol yea right.

and NO, bankruptsy is not like a fresh start….lol who the fuk needs a fresh start counting their money and paying bills?? dude blew thru his cash…..shit, it happend to folks richer than his ass. and if you think his endeavors are doing well…..lol keep on listening to him tell you shit that has been proven ait true.

  8. Worth is just that! She can’t sue his businesses. He’s probably worth 200mil easy, remember this cat just signed a $70 mil underwear deal.

  9. I think 50 is a smart guy. But lets be honest and stop being like Ja’s old fans and avoiding the truth here. The man is not broke compared to us. But he is broke compared to what he used to be. He is like a Dame Dash now. He is sadly but deservedly getting a taste of his own medicine and has become a “window shopper”. He had no loyalty to his own crew and is now worth less than Banks and Yayo.

It’s true, he still has a stake in a few companies and will make a comeback. But he will never be worth anything near what he was.

  10. Curtis Jackson is worth 4.3 million. His company is worth 200 mil. His company is an LLC which is a separate entity and is protected. He is being sued not his company. He does business deals under his company’s name. Curtis Jackson signed himself to his company, so it acts as his management when he does a Reebok endorsement for example. The check from Reebok gets made out to his company in which he may pay himself, “Curtis Jackson” a salary from, but most of his capital remains under his LLC. That is just smart business and anybody that does business at his level understands this very well.
