According to 50, he tried to catch up with Montana at Interscope Records.

“I herd there was a @frenchmontana listening party at Interscope so I’m here.,” 50 tweeted Thursday (October 11).

“(Ghost town) now the meetings canceled cool I’ll catch up with him tomorrow. SMSaudio”

“Im disappointed Man I want to hear the music ? SMSaudio” (50 Cent’s Twitter)

After a Montana re-tweet, French poked fun at Fif’s persistence to meet in-person.

“Dont come wit da funny tank top on lol RT @50cent: I herd there was a @frenchmontana listening party at Interscope so I’m here.,” Montana tweeted back. (French Montana’s Twitter)

Earlier in the week, 50 hopped on Twitter and went off on Montana.

“French Montana you ain’t Sh!t boy. You out your league talking about me you hoe.i read your little interview what the f*ck is you high.,” Fif tweeted October 10th.

“French your Sh!t so weak you never had a song by your self fool. Ain’t nobody’s waiting to hear your verse. Girl”

“Do you realize this fool @Frenchmontana hasn’t sold one record and talking about sales.” (50 Cent’s Twitter)

The rapper’s remarks came after Montana commented on his career taking a dip due to publicized beefs.

“You should avoid beef if you trying to make money. People get scared when you try to beef with people. In general, [even in street sh*t] nobody want to stand next to you if somebody about to shoot you, unless you have a a big lick [Ed. Note–A “lick” means a hustle.] They [used to] do that with 50 because 50 was the bank. They knew he was going to win. People ain’t doing that [anymore] … [The rap game’s not built like that anymore]. No, it’s over for that. It’s gone, big time. They’ll get you out so fast.” (Complex)
