Rapper-turned-actor 50 Cent has reportedly begun filming scenes for the upcoming season of HBO's "Entourage" television series.

While his contribution to the show has not been reported, the rap star was recently spotted on the show’s set.

50 looked like he was enjoying his time as he drove on the streets of Los Angeles in a white convertible Rolls Royce. The episode is set to air in August. Rapper 50 Cent was spotted filming scenes for the HBO hit “Entourage” today (June 12). He was joined on set with Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier and the shows creator Doug Ellin. (The Insider)

Several big names in hip-hop have made appearances lacing on the show.

Known for utilizing various hip-hop elements and themes throughout the show, HBO’s hit series “Entourage” has made a name for itself in the rap community with numerous cameos by rappers including Kanye West, T.I. and Snoop Dogg. Both Saigon and Bow Wow have also earned recurring roles on the show. “Entourage” is currently in its fifth season. (SOHH)

The Game previously chose “Entourage” star Kevin Connolly to direct his “Camera Phone” music video last year.

The actor/director, who is most known for his role as “E” on the hit show “Entourage,” was recently hired by the popular West Coast rapper to put together the video, which also stars R&B crooner Ne-Yo. “I got hired on Wednesday (October 29) and we’re shooting on Tuesday,” Connolly said in an interview. “I’ve been scrambling around all weekend.” (People)

Aside from television, Fif was recently chosen to play a cop informant in the upcoming film, Caught in the Crossfire.

50 is in the crossfire in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The rapper/actor, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, is part of a “smaller budget” police/crime film called Caught in the Crossfire that started production Friday (May 22). Our movie blogger Aaron Lafferty wrote on his Laff at the Movies blog, “the production crew, out of Los Angeles, is scheduled to be in the Grand Rapids area for 3 weeks.” (Wood TV)
