G-Unit leader 50 Cent may be known for his bad boy image but recent reports claim he hired former professional wrestler and fighter Ken Shamrock as his personal bodyguard.
According to reports, Shamrock found himself protecting Fif during this month’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
50 Cent has SERIOUSLY upgraded his personal security team … ’cause one of the guys watching his back is UFC Hall of Famer (and ex-WWE superstar) Ken Shamrock!!!! 49-year-old Shamrock was spotted on the rapper’s personal protection detail at the CES convection in Las Vegas yesterday … and afterward, Ken confirmed he’s now working for a company that does private security for several “high-end clients,” including Fiddy. After the convention, Ken tweeted that it was a “pleasure” working for 50 … and said the rapper is, “By far one of the classiest gents I have ever worked with.” (TMZ)
While at CES, Fif talked about his growing SMS Audio headphones line.
“He actually helps create the signature sound for SMS Audio,” Fif said referring to Timbaland. “It’s exciting to have the collaborations because these guys have a strong passion for music. Carmelo [Anthony], most professional athletes have a passion for it because it’s a lot of physical discipline involved, we can take it down to the basics the way we would actually utilize it on the treadmill or just keeping ourselves health.” (Fox Business)
Curtis Jackson also spoke on keeping his presence alive and alongside SMS Audio via social media.
“Now everybody sees everything differently. Your viral activity and social networking visibility is important. I do that,” Fif said about reminding fans of his direct association to SMS Audio. “Monster [Beats] is a big actual company and then because we come in and the competitive nature of hip-hop puts us in a competition. So it immediately makes people aware of SMS Audio.” (Fox Business)
Recently, Fif issued a statement to confirm NBA star Carmelo Anthony’s involvement.
“Carmelo Anthony is one of today’s premier athletes and is known globally for both his sportsmanship and his philanthropic endeavors,” said 50 Cent, CEO of SMS Audio. “He perfectly embodies the values behind SMS Audio and we’re excited to have him representing our brand – Providing Superior Sound Quality through Innovative Audio Products.” (Business Wire)
