Although he has not yet announced an album title, 50 is certain his upcoming release will be a classic.

“Good morning people I’m feeling good I wrote a song last night I think is special. classic 50 style but this album has to be perfect,” 50 tweeted Tuesday (September 28).

“I’m going to write a lot this time cause I have so many ideas for this album its not going to be like my other records” (50 Cent’s Twitter)

Earlier this month, 50 talked about possibly linking up with Swizz Beatz and Kanye West for the new LP.

“A lot of producers send stuff that’s interesting,” 50 said in an interview. “To me, it inspires me to write with different cadences, see a different style. I don’t want the record to sound like old material. I want it to sound like something new. They all go, ‘Oh, Fif, we want that Get Rich or Die Tryin’. They do the same thing to Jay-Z, [but] if you want the old one, buy the old one. If you want the new material that the artist is inspired to write, check it out…I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him. Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.” (MTV)

G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid recently talked about 50’s work ethic as of late.

“It’s been a long time. We’ve been waiting to put some crazy hot sh*t out. But we’re just going with the times, transforming ourselves so we can mix in. You can’t go wrong with the music we have. Even the 50 Cent leaks are crazy. The remix he did with Jeremih, that sh*t is outta here. And that’s just him f*cking around. I was like, that’s a real record, what are you doing right now.” (VIBE)

Although it has not reached platinum status, 50’s last album was certified gold in January.

50 Cent has another Gold certified album on his hands. The rapper’s 2009 effort “Before I Self Destruct” was recently certified Gold by the RIAA due to sales in excess of 500,000 copies. Led by the single “Baby By Me,” 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” closed out a strong decade of hit albums and singles for him. (Examiner)

No further album details have been revealed as of now.
