G-Unit head 50 Cent sent some less than friendly words toward the BET Awards this week following a “Best Actor” category snub.

In a new video clip, Fif singled out the annual awards show for not considering “Power” star Omari Hardwick as a nominee.

“It’s a d*mn shame what happened at the BET Awards. Fox bought the whole godd*mn show. How you gonna have a best actor award and give it to Terrence Howard and not even mention Omari Hardwick? Motherf*ck BET. The highlight of the whole godd*mn show was Puffy busting his a**. F*ck ’em, f*ck ’em all! I got the power!” (Say Cheese TV)

Hosted by movie stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, rap star Kendrick Lamar ignited the event.

The show Sunday brought a mix of funny and serious moments. Rapping on top of a police car with a large American flag waving behind him, hip-hop prince Kendrick Lamar kicked off the BET Awards with a dose of seriousness, but also brought a fiery energy thanks to his charisma and his song’s beat. R&B veteran Janet Jackson received the “Ultimate Icon” award last night (June 28).

“It’s been a very long moment to this journey … my heart is so full,” Jackson said to the audience, which included her mother and father. “To my beautiful mother, to my beautiful father, and to my entire family, your love is unbreakable.” An impressive Ciara, Jason Derulo and Tinashe paid tribute to the 49-year-old veteran by mimicking her signature dance moves. Fox’s “Empire” cast also came through for the must-see awards show.

Jussie Smollett (Jamal), Yazz The Greatest (Hakeem), and Serayah (Tiana) take the stage to perform a medley of Empire songs at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday (June 28) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The group collectively sang “No Apologies,” “You’re So Beautiful,” and “Drip Drop” for the screaming crowd! Terrence Howard was also in attendance at the show and watched on. (Just Jared)
