G-Unit boss 50 Cent is really getting ready to turn his Black Mafia Family passion project into a full-fledged TV series.
Curtis Jackson has resorted to Instagram to announce how soon actors can look forward to casting details.
Earlier this week, BMF boss Big Meech‘s son Lil Meech talked about his dad rolling with 50 to bring his story to the small screen.
“My dad always has respect for 50 and he really wanted to give people opportunities. As far as me, too, wanted to give other people the opportunities for the hood. He always said the hood to Hollywood. He always wanted to give people a chance. I can’t wait. I’m excited. He’s excited. We can’t wait ’til everything gets in motion.” (DJ Smallz Eyez)
LM also compared the BMF show to 50’s hit “Power” TV series.
“The show is announced, it’s being in motion right now, everything is just getting put together, the show should be starting very, very soon, everybody should be on the lookout. We haven’t shot scenes for it yet but I have an acting coach who’s helping me. … Everybody loves ‘Power.’ Everybody seen how well they’ve done ‘Power,’ so it’s a good look.” (DJ Smallz Eyez)
