G-Unit's 50 Cent recently opened up about his stance toward rumored ex-girlfriend/talk show host Chelsea Handler and what characteristic drove him to her.
50 credited Chelsea’s down-to-earth personality as a strong driving factor.
“Chelsea is confident. I think confidence is the sexiest thing about a person. She’s the kind of person that if you’re blessed with the opportunity to hang out with her, you’ll enjoy it. I’m not sure you’ll look at her and actually want to jump over the table and f*ck her, but you might. You would leave after talking with her feeling that she is a cool person.” (VIBE)
In late January, rumors emerged claiming Handler ended her relationship with 50.
A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that Chelsea Handler dumped 50 Cent just before the holidays, leaving the 35-year-old rapper “heartbroken.” Determined to win her back, 50 Cent — who was first spotted canoodling with the “Chelsea Lately” host in October — “spent Christmas sending her gifts, but she sent them back. She put a note on one that said, ‘I can buy my own gifts.'” (Us Weekly)
Earlier in the month, Chelsea admitted 50 was too much for her to handle.
“People still think we’re dating? No! Really?,” Handler said in an interview. “He’s sweet, though. I love him, but we’re not dating. I don’t know if I can handle him, to be honest. I like to have fun and I’m really trying to not get into anything too serious.” (Us Magazine)
In December, Handler ignited speculation on their hook-up by tweeting an intimate photo of them together.
Is she pranking her fans or is she fueling the flames of existing romance rumors? Talk show host Chelsea Handler has shared a photo with fans that shows her in a compromising position with rapper-actor-entrepreneur 50 Cent. The photo is on display on her WhoSay account and posted on social networking sites including Facebook. Though the photo is slightly blurry, it shows 50 Cent (whose birth name is Curtis Jackson) on top of Handler with the couple smiling and their eyes toward the camera. Handler’s face is slightly obscured because she is kissing the rapper’s left cheek. The photo caption reads, “I don’t know why anyone thinks I would ever date a rapper.” (MyFox News)
