The “21 Questions” and “Baby By Me” hitmaker credited LL Cool J‘s “I Need Love” for having an impact on his life.

“The word ‘love’ was reserved for LL Cool J,” Fif said in an interview. “[That’s] when I fell in love with hip-hop. So after that, I’m waiting around for somebody to pick something from Drake. I personally told him when he has a moment, the special moment for him as an artist, it’s usually relationship-based.” (MTV)

While Nas and Fabolous also shared Fif’s pick, Dipset’s Juelz Santana named a certain Wu-Tang Clan member’s Mary J. Blige-assisted track as his top choice.

“Of course, ‘I Need Love’, by Cool J,” Nas revealed. “Number one would have to be LL’s ‘I Need Love.’ That was one of the first, you know, heartfelt rap songs,” Fabolous said. “Man, ‘You’re All I Need,’ it captured everything. It captured the love but it captured the hood. The beat, everything, beats like that, those records don’t just happen every day,” Juelz Santana explained. (MTV)

Last year, 50 Cent revealed what he looks for in a woman.

“I like women that have their own ideas,” Fif revealed in an interview after getting referenced to his past fling with Vivica A. Fox. “I like when they have information that I don’t have. So it’s points that I can learn something in coversation without going to Google. Not necessarily [topics] in business or whatever, things that I’m interested in. If they have a different area of business that I’m in, then I’ll pay attention to it a little more so I have some input but I like when they have their own thing.” (“The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”)

Despite his knack for penning love tracks, “Make Me Better” hitmaker Fabolous recently dished out his disinterest in tying the knot.

“I don’t think marriage is in the future for me right now. [laughs] I just really don’t. And the thing about marriage is that, I believe in it but don’t believe in it,” Fabolous said in an interview. “I think sometimes people put on that ring and that paper, and it messes up a good thing sometimes because now it’s a different emphasis on your relationship because now you can say I’m married, I got this paper — I like to just build on relationships and make sure you’re in a happy relationship.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)
