One of two men arrested for breaking into rap star 50 Cent's Connecticut mansion this week has been hit with an attempted murder charge.
According to reports, 19 year-old Alexander Hernandez was issued an arrest warrant for his role in a New Britain shooting.
Hernandez was wanted by New Britain police in connection with a double shooting that injured two men at a Main Street, New Britain multi-family house in October. He was turned over to New Britain police to face a warrant for attempted murder and first-degree assault after he was charged by Farmington police with burglary and criminal trespass. A Hernandez relative has vouched for him in relation to invading 50’s home Tuesday (December 21) morning.
The guys who were arrested inside 50 Cent’s Connecticut mega-mansion weren’t trying to steal anything — they just wanted to get hammered in the lap of luxury … at least that’s what they’re telling people. TMZ spoke with the sister of Alexander Hernandez — the guy who was found drinking wine in Fiddy’s closet when cops arrived — who tells us Alexander is claiming he and the other suspect just wanted to “hang out” at 50’s place because they’re both huge fans. She adds … Hernandez is claiming he never tried to steal anything from inside the house — they only wanted the “thrill” of getting inside. (TMZ)
Hernandez and a friend were arrested after successfully breaking into the rapper’s home.
According to the police report that was made, one of the burglars, Alexander Hernandez, was discovered, “hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine he had stolen from the residence.” The second suspect, Santos Padilla, was found hiding in a different section of the house. Both Hernandez and Padilla were released on a $50,000 bond each. Hernandez was released to the cops, where he has outstanding warrants that he is wanted for. (MWZA News)
Outside of the crime, 50 has been talking about wanting to find a new love interest.
“I want to have another kid in the future. I have to find the rightwomen this is not easy,” 50 tweeted December 20th,” 50 tweeted this week.
“I saw puffy on the view when they asked him about having 6 kids by 3 different women. he wanted to say let’s just go to commercial. Lol” (50 Cent’s Twitter)
