50 Cent Keeps His Word, Drops “BIG” Project

Today, G-Unit general 50 Cent kept his word by unleashing his new The Big 10 mixtape featuring guest appearances from G-Unit’s Kidd Kidd, Tony Yayo and more.

The free mixtape became available at 12 PM EST Friday (December 9).

As previously reported, 50 Cent is commemorating the 10-year anniversary of his first-ever mixtape, 2002?s 50 Cent is the Future, with a brand new one, entitled The Big 10. Spanning 10 tracks, the effort also includes guest spots from Kidd Kidd and Paris, who are new signees to 50 Cent’s G-Unit label. (Consequence of Sound)

Last week, 50 released his new “Stop Crying” leadoff Big 10 track.

In honor of the fact that It’s been ten years since everyone wished Shawty a happy birthday, 50 Cent’s dropping a ten-track album next week called The Big 10. Last night he leaked a single off the album, “Stop Crying,” which features Fitty gruffly telling everyone to just stop crying (no matter how many guns there are!) over synth that sounds like the exact moment in Super Mario Brothers when you get to Bowser’s Castle. Some call it “brutal,” we call it growing up with an older brother. (Huffington Post)

In late November, the G-Unit leader said the project is in celebration of his first-ever mixtape’s annviersary.

“Its been 10 years since I put out 50cent is the future. So I’m putting out the BIG 10 next week 10 smoking hot tracks #SK,” 50 tweeted November 27th.
