On the week 50 Cent rival Rick Ross celebrates his topping of the sales charts, the G-Unit leader will meet and greet fans in New York City to promote his latest video game Blood on the Sand.
The one-day event will allow video gamers to interact with Fif.
Video game retailer Play N Trade of Manhattan, located at 137 E. 13 Street, will be hosting the event which will feature Blood on the Sand playing on one of three demo station game consoles as well as customer meet and greet with 50 Cent. Taking place Thursday, April 30, fans will be able to meet 50 Cent from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PR Newswire)
Play N Trade Executive VP of Marketing Roger Lloyd has expressed the company’s desire to tag 50 for the event.
“50 Cent is well-known, not only as a rap music icon but also as a gamer,” Lloyd said in a statement. “We are excited to have him here and can’t wait for this exciting event.” (Statement)
50 previously spoke on what additional features fans could expect from the video game.
“You’ve got hit music from the Curtis album which is my last album,” Fif said in a past interview about the game. “That’s music from Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, Mary J. Blige, me and Akon, me and Dr. Dre, me and Eminem. Hit music from the last five years, it’s optional for them to play. There’s 40 tracks on there and 19 of them are brand new that they can hear.” (Computer & Video Games)
