G-Unit boss 50 Cent might not want to laugh straight to the bank just yet. The hip-hop veteran is reportedly on the verge of dealing with some legal heat.
New reports claim a woman Fif punched earlier in the week is ready to lawyer up against Curtis Jackson.
Donnetta Derr has a law firm behind her that will sue 50 early next week. She’ll also sue The Lox, with whom Fiddy performed, and the venue, Baltimore Soundstage. TMZ broke the story … 50 was performing last week when the woman grabbed his arm and pulled him off stage. 50 retaliated with a vicious punch. Donnetta later went onstage and twerked … leading people to believe the beef was squashed … nope. (TMZ)
A few days ago, the G-Unit boss sparked headlines after announcing the premiere date for his “Power” show.
In early April, Curtis Jackson teased “Power” fans about the show’s mighty comeback.
Recently, 50 Cent’s co-star Rotimi hinted at “Power” possibly heading to the big screen.
Rotimi Akinosho — a star of 50 Cent’s Starz series “Power” — says the show’s being adapted into a film. “Yes, we are working on it. There is a strong possibility that it is happening,” he told us. “Fifty talks about it all the time.” Akinosho added that the film will be “a flashback of all the characters when they were young.” (Page Six)
