G-Unit leader 50 Cent's industry problems are now extending beyond Interscope Records as he has announced plans to snub media outlets and press for his upcoming untitled solo album.

According to Fif, he is going to let his music speak for itself and generate its own buzz.

“My next album is great its shame the hardest people to work with were suppose to be on the same team with me. SK,” he tweeted December 31st.

“I’m not doing any press for this album. I worked really hard on it my music speaks for it self. I may put out another mix tape for fun. SK”

“Music was so much fun for me now the people and politics involved disgust me. I’m putting out a song tonight FT EM at 12:00 PM happy new year” (50 Cent’s Twitter)

In December, 50 said he had no intention of rushing out a new LP.

“I want to come out at the top of the year, I want to be ready, but, you know, of course it’s all on how everybody else puts together their actual marketing campaign and get it right,” 50 said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. “I don’t have a timeline anymore. I’m doing the Dr. Dre. I’m doing what Eminem does. I’ve been on a shot clock my entire career. ‘I’ve gotta come out during this period. I’ve got to come out during this period.’ Like, every other year. My albums are so successful that it would take me a year to get done touring off of them. I may not necessarily tour off of this album. I might release it and decide I’m going to make the next one instead of actually going out and touring and let everybody live with that and do something different. Or they’ll see me at spot dates.” (Shade 45)

A month prior, G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid offered his take on Fif’s multiple album setbacks.

“He wants it to come out but he’s dealing with label sh*t too,” Whoo Kid said about 50 Cent’s album delay. “It’s like the politics of when to drop and you gotta understand there’s competition with other people too. So labels are just, like, maneuvering when to drop ’cause I know he did, most of it is done. Like 95 percent of it is finished so he wants it to come out and if it was up to him it would but I may assume it’s the labels that’s f*cking with him but at the end of the day I heard like nine joints that’s crazy. I wish I had it now so I could f*cking make some serious money off of it myself, but, you’ll hear it soon.” (Amaru Don TV)

Over the course of 2011, 50 has publicly detailed his issues with Interscope Records.

“It’s actually my final requirement. My fifth album and the final requirement for Interscope. I had some difficulties with the actual system,” 50 explained in an interview. “There are people there that are afraid to lose their job — they’ve seen other people get fired. I think they’re afraid to make some decisions that need to be made right away, they just sit and look…We’ve had some conversations communicated to develop plans for different things and it’s not actually executed in the time plan that we’ve created. And I get frustrated and I start doing things, like I put the record out.” (MTV UK)

As of now, there is neither a release date or title for 50 Cent’s upcoming LP.
