G-Unit general 50 Cent raised eyebrows over the weekend by putting out a new music video called "They Burn Me" which features the New York rapper severly burned.

The clip is reportedly inspired from his own childhood experiences.

50 Cent shares his pain in the video for “They Burn Me,” which he released from the vault on Christmas Day. In the deep clip, a burned 50–who had his body and face disfigured for the part–lays in the hospital as the mother of his child is seen profiting off his misfortune. The storyline was drawn from his real life experience. (Rap-Up)

He also hopped on Twitter to admit how personal the record is.

“They burned me, I held on to that long time its personal but now everyone can see it. I’m over the issues on it I write better in. When I’m pain.,” he tweeted December 25th. (50 Cent’s Twitter)

Fif’s music video is the latest new release since his Big 10 mixtape.

As previously reported, 50 Cent is commemorating the 10-year anniversary of his first-ever mixtape, 2002’s 50 Cent is the Future, with a brand new one, entitled The Big 10. Spanning 10 tracks, the effort also includes guest spots from Kidd Kidd and Paris, who are new signees to 50 Cent’s G-Unit label. (Consequence of Sound)

With no confirmed release date for his upcoming untitled solo LP, Fif recently said he would drop it when he is ready.

“I want to come out at the top of the year, I want to be ready, but, you know, of course it’s all on how everybody else puts together their actual marketing campaign and get it right,” 50 said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. “I don’t have a timeline anymore. I’m doing the Dr. Dre. I’m doing what Eminem does. I’ve been on a shot clock my entire career. ‘I’ve gotta come out during this period. I’ve got to come out during this period.’ Like, every other year. My albums are so successful that it would take me a year to get done touring off of them. I may not necessarily tour off of this album. I might release it and decide I’m going to make the next one instead of actually going out and touring and let everybody live with that and do something different. Or they’ll see me at spot dates.” (Shade 45)
