According to reports, Fif’s new headphones set coincides with “Star Wars Day” this Sunday (May 4).

The on-ear headphones were produced by the Rapper’s SMS Audio electronic company and feature four designs, including Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, Empire and Rebel Alliance. The first-edition package includes a Star Wars-themed carrying case, removable cable with a three-click microphone, soft-touch cleaning cloth, a poster, stickers and owner manual. (UPI)

The headphones come in three different Star Wars-themed styles based off the franchise’s characters.

You won’t need 10,000 credits, but you will need to pay the 200 US dollars asking price upfront. No need to sell your landspeeder, either. However, you will need to pick your allegiances carefully, as there are Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, Empire and Rebel Alliance editions to choose from. (Engadget)

Recently, 50 revealed ex-label home Interscope Records hit him with various restrictions after the launch of his SMS Audio headphones line a few years ago.

“Interscope is Beats Records,” 50 Cent told FORBES. “There’s no artist that has a marketing budget supporting what they’re actually doing that doesn’t have Beats headphones in the actual visual to support that brand, that company. So when I invested in SMS Audio, it kind of made people afraid.” In particular, 50 Cent recalls not being allowed to display his own SMS headphones shooting the video for “My Life.” At one point, he wore a hat with the SMS logo on it; the letters were blurred out in the final edit. Last winter, Fif issued a statement to confirm NBA star Carmelo Anthony had joined his team.

“Carmelo Anthony is one of today’s premier athletes and is known globally for both his sportsmanship and his philanthropic endeavors,” said 50 Cent, CEO of SMS Audio. “He perfectly embodies the values behind SMS Audio and we’re excited to have him representing our brand – Providing Superior Sound Quality through Innovative Audio Products.” (Business Wire)
