Turn Up Thursday. It’s time to turn things up so why not start it off with 50 Cent being blasted over his daddy ways? Speaking of New York rap stars, did Diddy just send a warning shot? Someone that needs a warning label is Rihanna considering her new steamy pics? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. GG-GG-Get Off My Back

Does 50 Cent need a lesson in raising kids? You wouldn’t think so if you looked at his Instagram page and saw how much he loves his son. But someone tried to check him and he checked back. The Shade Room Inc is on it:

Can you really disagree? Should 50 Cent have ignored this comment or did he have to speak out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. Just Beat It

Diddy is hungry for something but it’s not quite clear what. Subliminal is not usually Diddy’s way but a picture he posted up this week has people wondering. His Instagram page tells all:

https://instagram.com/p/1yp6jPpl8Y/?taken-by=iamdiddy

Is this a shot at anyone or just his way of saying he’s focused? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. RiRi Season

It’s a pleasure to have Rihanna back on Instagram and she didn’t disappoint this week. The Barbados beauty decided to let fans see some pretty intimate pictures from her V Magazine cover. Her Instagram page has the shots:

The only question to ask is if you’re not following Rihanna on IG, why not? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

That about wraps it up for today. This is SOHH On The Spot giving you the morning scoop from your favorite gossip sites.

    • You couldn’t have said it better because your respect for Black women is no better.

      • It’s actually self hate manifest and it’s sad. The most effective prison system is when you beat down the prisoner until they eventually keep themselves locked up.

        • why cant she just be wrong for coming at him the wrong way…how saying a color to describe a person directly be thought of as self hate…like it or not there coward bad people and itchs in this worl if i encounter one that is black am i not suppose to call her because of some thought that she’s black and wants to be considered a treasure because of slavery…what ever happen to a person owning there sin and fault…maybe he’s black itches on his page more than white itches ….any one can be a itch …me adding a adjective does not make my purpose sinister what if he is literally constantly attacked by black itch’s on his page….no disrespect to you but a person using a term or word is not a clear declaration of racist behavior nor is it a sign of self hate…

  1. She had to be a angry black b**ch???? She couldn’t just be a angry b**ch???? Damn kid. Dude got serious issues.

    • If you read his comments on ig you would see only black women who dnt know his relationship with him only comment about his oldest son

      • No excuses for your hero applying racially insensitive remarks to women of his own race. When white people condemn each other they know not to racialize it. They just say “That girls b***h” or “She’s such a *unt”. They don’t prefix it with white. 50 is an ignorant dude.

    • luv him but that was a definite turn off….and ive seen him in interviews swoon over women of all colors. but that was just awful!

      • Very true. That’s a big problem in the black community. Look at the bm of 50’s new kid. Brothers ain’t respecting sistas and sistas ain’t respecting brothers. It’s sad and we’re never gonna get it together as a people until we learn to show each other respect.

  2. Peace above anything that i may say: but not for nothing Older black women are very mouthy….he could had said it different but at this point im pretty sure he tired of people giving thought on his personal life…he has never made his personal life an open book when it comes to his kids like other celebs…as a dad of three i love me kids but every relationship even though im married to their mom and they are all from the same women is different….we dont know who and how all this happen we really only know what was leaked…being a parent is hard enough with out some fake old fake godly bitter women trying to tell you how to raise a child….when go at celebs on social media they may come back and then its to late….non of us the preach do it the right way and respect women know what he has been through with said women to make him feel that way….and to any that so no respect to you and your thoughts but i know hundreds of old bitter mouthy black females that are fit that word very well…i

    • Ahh c’mon man. You can’t justify everything 50 do. You gotta be somewhat critical of this clown. What he said was disrespectful and racist.

      • LOL! that what i love about your post the challenge…well to honest you have to admit your super against most of the things he does….b**ch is a word that has triple meaning ….Female dog…Hip hop term , than overall women calling each other that as a term of endearment like ni**a you have a natural right to use it to say racist when he belongs to that race is a bit of miss….secondly because your top notch in my book i understand that you stand for more when it comes to women cant hate you on that but not all have to hold them in high regards…on his page its a picture of him happy celebrating life….why attack a black man being there for his kid …why hate a black kid with a mixed mother or celebrate them any less….point blank fact is that fifty is a balck man that takes care of all his kids….why do these women feel its there right to comment just because they feel they know him from his public persona…..Fact when fifty 1st child was born in an attempt to spend time he took him on tour fact…his mother made him stop that was a good call…but where the credit for him trying….

Lastly lets get back to this what about your other son comment…WOW…like that comes off as a complete slap in the face as well as a person to to overly influenced by social media….she spoke on what she thought she knew…facts show 50cent does more for his kids that a lot of dads and if you want to add race he is a black father that willingly paid child support school fee and although he complained the mother and her other kid….i know a few newark blocks that would to have kind of father let alone a father that may be tough but always there for finance and protection….plus what kind of things can most hip hop artist really confess to im sure if tour bus walls could talk there facts would reveal way more terrible labels than what he said….i may not agree with all you say that natural but i always enjoy reading your side…its a respectable side very honorable but theres always two sides to coin…being father raised with little woman influence helps me see women with out comparing them to dear ol mother or sister

        • Whew…too long bro!! lol

A few points though; You most definitely can be racist towards your own kind. Look at Charles Barkely, Ben Carson, and especially Larry Elders.

You know I believe in turning the other cheek? Then you don’t know me at all homie because I most definitely do NOT believe in turning the other cheek. However I do believe in a man responding in an honest and respectful manner when a female member of his race questions him. She may have been wrong to insinuate that he doesn’t care for his older son but he could have answered her in a way where he didn’t call her a racist and misogynistic term.

As for women (or any human being) you DO deserve respect unless your behavior or conduct suggests otherwise. She didn’t say much for your boy to call her out in such a negative manner. As for you not having a mother or sister around that may work against you as well as you don’t have many positive connections or interactions with Black women on a love level. Black women that you would fight or die for. Black women who helped raise, care for, and nurture you so you may value them less. Women deserve respect not because they are women but because they are human beings automatically worthy of respect until they behave in a way that suggests otherwise. That’s for all human beings.

Ya boy 50 is a coward though. He has nothing to say about police killing unarmed Black men and women but he can get rowdy and raw with Black women and with other Black male rappers. He picks his battles and that ain’t real. Ya praise the dude like he a real dude but he is scared of the establishment. 50 represents what white people can tolerate. A Black man who perpetually berates and beats down his own kind but are of no threat to them because he never challenges the power structure. That’s why I don’t get down with dude. His “tough guy” image only applies to other Black people. Not to the real bullies i.e. the system, police, politicians, corporations,

          • Fifty can’t go around being public hero to this and that because he a criminal that hasn’t been charge or caught. He’s not less of a man because he’s not a leader..would be nice if top blacks helped yes but non you can name or without sin…people hate that hunters eat meat and say that harsh so they eat vegetable s but plant live ..my point no one can be perfect and some don’t even want to try. That make them worst..you say fifty bad for not helping but what about Nicki and other female entertainers that lead young black women a stray by making it stem like its cool to show you body and sleep around…

          • To be honest your comment is all over the place. I never said 50 was bad for not helping. That’s not what this discussion was about. I said he picks his battles meaning he will quickly denigrate Black men and women but won’t challenge the system. All I’m saying is being real ain’t just beating up on people who look like you. That aint real at all. Being real is challenging wrongdoing anywhere. Period. He specifically targets those he feels he can beat. And to call a women an “angry Black B” is symptomatic of one uphold white supremacist views of Black women.

Nick Minaj ain’t got squat to do with this bro lol Ya man f’ed up lol

          • Fare i was on one never nothing personal as i always say inspire im always ready for a debate and you never fail to bring a ggod topic thats my reason for the volume….but at one point you said he not real…and being real is really just being honest with ya self maybe its a generic term that trys to embody to much …but your not less real because you have beef with black men and you handle your beef with black men….its not his job to be black leader cause he tough in the streets…he a crook and criminal what part he tryed to feed people with the sk thing he gave back to his hood put artist on…targeting is wise…i dont know one that can last with blind attacks plus at time he went at everybody in hip hop and he didnt maybe they were cool are maybe he saw defeat…im not a coward if shaq hit me im gonna try to fight back but i will surely lose…so naturally yeah i would be more happy to have someone my size…i brought up nicki cause of the points on women getting respect and the thought of respecting one on the note of the image they sell to the public ….Always good bro always good

          • I’m saying it aint real to only fight who you can beat. That’s cowardice. Especially when Black people in this country have always needed each other to survive and move ahead. So he disrupts unity with his little antics and beefs. It ain’t about having to be a Black leader. Standing up to the powers that be doesn’t make you a Black leader. It means you have principles, courage, and morals. 50 aint in the street no more. I’m more street than 50 lol 50 been livin’ the Huxtable life for over a decade now. He need to take note from what Deion Sanders told his son lol

          • LOL ….you do understand that this is hip hop and that hip hop artist go at each other and use terms like he used all through the entire genre…if common and social first rappers are your taste than fine but i cant understand why …you trying to turn soda into water….soda in unhealthy we know that water is healthy we know that…but trying to combine the qualities does not always work out as smooth as seltzer water…so if i get this right you say you comment on fifty because this is a hip hop page…fare but why are expecting to come to a hip hop page and read a story about a bad person being good…he’s a rapper you know this…everybody anit made for that…i expect more out of nas q-tip and conscience rappers than i do a fifty cent….My dude he is a street dude out for self…alone the way he helped a few and made some good investments and entertain music, movie ect…but he is a rapper that talks about drugs and shooting no different than any other rapper thats on this page…he might not live in the hood but he is surely not leader material he’s not a defender of the weak….i have not seen him back down against a foe its not his fault that his foes are black…why come at him like he wrong for not fighting for the plight of black and that hes less because he will defend himself but not the world…he a bully might have mental problem former drug dealer and a professed shooter….a person saling trees in the community is not trying to destroy that community because they only serve that community….he not a coward cause he defends him self in the black community that he apart of….i hear you …all this about him but the women that pissed him off by talking about his kids gets one line…wow come on man ..you said a line about matching pressure with the same amount of pressure cool but some people see that as to time consuming …so if you slap me i might shoot ya…am i more wrong depends who ask….the person that slapped may say hey that was over board while the shooter can say you should never have touched me i have anger issue face problems or anything…fact still remains no slap no shot…no matter what wrong right or offensive we have freedom of speech she used it and so did he…

          • Your posts are too long bruh lol Anyways, if we know something is unhealthy, then don’t we tell people it’s unhealthy? Don’t we list the calories, sodium grams of fat etc.? Don’t health magazines, doctors, fitness specialists, nutritionists, and others warn us about the effects of that which is unhealthy and tell us to consume with moderation or not at all? That’s what I’m doing!! lol I’m letting you know 50’s misogyny is unhealthy. I’m letting you know that him perpetuating Black on Black beef is not good for the community. I’m letting you know that cowardice is not okay.

I’m expecting to read whatever is in the article. So if it’s 50 calling women b-words then I’m going to reply to that. Simple lol

Again, you don’t have to be a leader to defend what is right. Just a man with morals and principles. You don’t get that bro? And he doesn’t defend himself, he inserts himself in other people’s drama. Was he defending himself when he involved himself in the T.I./Floyd beef? The Nelly/Floyd drama? Starting drama with Diddy? That’s bullying and that’s corny. Where’s his gangsta when kids get killed by cops in Jamaica Queens? You don’t have to be pro-Black or a political leader to defend people who look like you or come from your community. Ya boy does back down. From the system! lol

          • My relations with women through true confession has been limited.. but it more of the fundamental things about them that bother me there history so to say…I can and do respect some but its many double standards if a women can do any job than should be open for any insult without crying that she’s women..I would never die to protect a women cause my life is important to me..I know a father that try. To kill a guy that hit his daughter he in jail she wit the guy. So I take wisdom from that ..my problem with women is they want to be men..things must have order sharks can’t hunt monkeys that are trees and tigers ride skate boards

          • OK if you don’t can’t or won’t read …but one is not less real because they don’t sacrifice wealth or life to protect their race…..an evolved thought might say that all or one..fair but where the all before fifty..where’s Oprah Bob Johnson Jessie all Jordan all wealthy black role models that have not caught one bullet for the cause…they have the be all to america ..in the form of cash and millions of fans all have been unheard through our current struggles yet all have continued to do business and make money off us and with our oppressers and yet you choose to call out a former street dude that has mental issues ..u expect to much from a sub par rapper but not enough from our quote in quote black icons…where’s Jordan I can’t breath Jordan in all black..
You telling me Oprah can’t pop up and just end poverty for few at a time..America’s leader is blackish and he not helping you can invade a country but ask a few judges to lock up some bad cops…but your problem us with fifty calling a women a name…equality means you get paid what i but also means you fight your own battles you say treat women the same but yet you talk a need for them to be protected under a non equal thought that they are weak equality means you no hero in the form of man equality means i cant equally upset with any and all thus white black green dont matter or should not if the true thought is equality..
Why is he more wrong for saying black itch..are black women suppose to be treated better than any other..shouldnt he be able to say black itch if he black

          • All those people you named are sellouts too. But it ain’t just celebrities that are sellouts. People who go to work everyday and don’t challenge oppression in the workforce are sellouts too because their principles are being bought in exchange for the dollar that supports their livelihood. This is why we aren’t really free in America. To be free would be the ability support myself and speak truth simultaneously.

You are wrong though brother. I do expect from those figures as well and have called them out. The reason I haven’t called them out through this avenue of communication is because this is a “Hip Hop” website and those figures aren’t discussed here as often as 50. He’s a rapper and he appears often so I touch on what is relevant to the site’s content. Didn’t know he had mental issues though.

As for women I can be an ally to their struggle without co-opting it or leading the charge. I’m in support of Black women because I love them and they, throughout my life, have loved me. So of course I will take issue with 50 attacking them by racist and degrading terminology. You are supposed to defend what you love, that doesn’t mean they are not equal (although I never said women are equal to men in all capacities and should be regarded equally in every facet of life).

He can say what he wants but people have a right to question why he’s saying it and that’s what I’m doing. What does her being Black have to do with the fact he thinks she’s a B? Would he have called a white woman an angry white B? No. So it shows that 50 has bought into the stereotype of the angry loud Black woman. And asking a question shouldn’t make her a B either. Maybe overstepping her boundaries, nosy, intrusive, but not a B.

          • the mental issues is a reach on my part…but i say that in a arena of thought made of no mom no dad mom being former dealer…being shot living not knowing who had it done…growing up poor south side getting stab….im not a brain doctor but im just saying all these life lost’s might not make for a normal thinking person…..
I get it they talk about non hip hop people but we can always bring better convo to the page…..me and you alone can take a boring page and fill the comment section we have done it…
Context fiffty has never been considered a black leader…he got shot and sold drug so he makes that kind of music…i dont understand why you would pick him out all the artist on this page to fight for the plight of blacks…jordan got a strong hold and hand in black culture as well as hip hop he’s better spoken and has a non aggressive life style as well every rapper done name dropped him why not go at him..i get you more with this explanation of where your going with women rights but my thought is that we all people and should be held to standard i dont know that it can fare all the way…so i argue for women to take pride and standup for your self in a respectable way not saying well men sleep with hundred and they note bad so why am i…why are you cause you want to treated better and the fact you carry our young thats a noble honorable thing that men cant do so be beauty and not beast…put some cloths on stop using excuse’s…dont dress like a thot then get mad when your treated like one…i respect your though tbut cant agree with the notion saying black to more descriptive is sexiest or racist a B can be man or women and its a domesticated term….ri ri had b better have money ….saying that black women may not be true are it may be true but its not racist…black women love weave…anit nothing like a strong black b in your corner….i dont believe you will listen to it but there is a song by fifty called all his love…he uses the b word the whole song…if you were to than maybe you could see that its not really what you think …like if i say i love kevin hart that n is retarded im not speaking bad about n are mentally challenged people or kevin hart….either way you choose to see it respect bro …thank you for clearing up a few thoughts and thank you for sharing sorry for books LOL!!! dont know you on a personal level but what you bring here makes you a cool person in my book..

          • I hope 50cent appreciates that he has you a cheerleader. The point is whether your kid is 17 or 70 your child never STOPS being your child, and no matter if your kids are straight black, white, purple or biracial they should all be taken care of. No one cares if a child is mixed, my daughter’s brother is half Dominican but I expect her dad to take care of his 3 children all the same point blank.

          • who said anything about a kid being taken care of less because of color or race….as for the cheer leader Part ??? why???because i like to debate and he has haters which leads to debate…or is it because i refuse to believe him using a adjective to describe a certain type of women is wrong….
Point Blank fact is he takes care of all his kids…so instead of saying slick things about how he has a relationship with one that is different than the other why not just cheer that some black men do can and are willing to take care of their kids…..never said color matterd

          • I hope 50cent appreciates that he has you a cheerleader. • But by the nature of work itself don’t you sellout? Like I mean things like allowing your boss to treat you in a manner you wouldn’t accept from anyone else if you were off the clock or them telling you you have to come in on your off day even though they gave you little to no notice or them not honoring your sick/personal time. Even doing a job that has nothing to do with your real life goals and ambitions is selling out because you are trading in time that could go towards developing yourself to work for someone else.

    • lol, do some of you men get out much? I find older people are opinionated in general because they are at a point where they have experienced enough to speak on things and they just don’t have time for the BS. My mom says what she feels as well as my older male family members etc. She is in no way shape or form bitter and what she shares with me is truths that I need to hear whether I’m ready to hear that truth or not. Every black woman is not bitter, and as I said before it takes time for people to get in touch with themselves. If someone is bitter male or female it’s for a reason but a person has to be willing to look into themselves and work that problem out and let the bitterness go. Men have a responsibility to their child/children the same way a mother does. I’m not going to stop being a parent to my daughter. Even when she’s 60 I’ll still be her mother so I will ALWAYS be there for her no matter what. You sound like you have an issue with black women who speak their minds although the presentation of their words might not be to your liking at the end of the day that’s all they are doing is speaking their minds. Same way you just did and you sound just as bitter as some of the black women that you are referring to.

  3. unless u know a bunch of older women of all races to compare older black women to?,,then the defense of 50 and 50 himself ,,makes no sense

  4. He said something bc the truth hurts… Didn’t he diss his son in public? Never tried to repair that relationship with him. That’s why his son hate him now. He said his son grown…his son is like 17! Why you think he’s trying so hard now with Sire….I’m a father myself and I know how important being in your kid’s life is. Just unfortunate. He still has time though

  5. 50’s Right, People need to stop assuming things. Most Women don’t do research on a situation before they speak on it nowadays. Most women, don’t have good judgement! FACTS!!! You have to look at something from all sides and angles. If the media says, 50 cent wasn’t at his son’s graduation, then a woman will think that it means he’s a horrible father! LOL. When in reality that’s not the case. You have to look at the why, when, where, who, what of any situation. It might be the Son’s Fault, Baby Mother’s Fault. I hope we do not have a woman as President!

    • I agree with the “some” women comment because I know some women who always think the worse of a man or situation BUT not all women are like that with maturity comes wisdom and you learn that you have to look at things from all angles not everyone is there yet. With that said I hope one day we do have a woman as President because we are not all the same.

      • Even with wisdom, a woman can not lead! This is something commanded by the One with Supreme Wisdom, GOD! All Apostles have always been Men. Men have the better decision-making skills, to run a household. Women’s emotions is a huge part of why they can not run a Household, let alone a Man!!! I do appreciate your kindness in the way you presented your opinion, but Facts are Facts.

  6. That’s like saying “The only people who are always saying something are the ones in the room listening”. Black people follow him on twitter so of course it’s going to more likely be a Black woman to call him out because that’s the community he’s from. So mentioning the fact that she was Black made no sense. You are more likely to draw criticism from members of your community because that’s whose tuned in and that’s who you spend more time around.

  7. Eww I dislike that term African American women because unless a woman is truly has African parents and is born in America we are not African American. My family is from St.Lucia and Guyana and I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I never understood why black women are always targeted for being angry. Don’t all women get upset or have an opinion? And if a black woman speaks on something she doesn’t feel is right why does she automatically have to be upset about something else. Life is full of experiences and some of those experiences aren’t good and they shape people into who they are that is why I am grateful for all the stages in my life because it’s made me who I am today. Everybody doesn’t grow at the same time and it would be nice to encourage, explain and build people up instead of judging them when you don’t know what life experience they have gone through to be a particular way.

  9. Running a household!??? The single mothers are getting their money from a government that was created by Men, and Ran by men. I’m not discrediting all women. I’m specifically telling you that both have their roles to play, the way GOD ordered us!

  10. well said worth being repeated salute to your daughter and you for caring enough to break the its cute so its ok mold…i raise girls as well so i understand what you mean by having the right examples…keep up the good work not that you need to hear it but support and cheers to you and yours thank you
