G-Unit leader 50 Cent has vouched his support for R&B singer Chris Brown and promised to never watch FOX News after the network bashed the crooner for appearing on NBC's "Today" show.
50 revealed his dissatisfaction with FOX News late Sunday (July 17) evening.
“I just saw a clip on FOX news Hating on NBC for having chris brown on unbelievable. I’m never watching that again. He paid for his mistake #!@%*# holes.,” 50 tweeted July 17th. (50 Cent’s Twitter)
Brown reached out to 50 and shared his reaction to FOX News’ remarks.
“@50cent don’t worry bro.. They mad because of the level of real people who live in this world. Not to mention their ratings probably sucked,” he tweeted July 17th. (Chris Brown’s Twitter)
Despite “Today” landing a record-breaking 18,000-plus fans in attendance, FOX News slammed NBC for inviting Brown to its show last week.
However, the success of the gig failed to impress FOX News. On the same day, its host Laura Ingraham accused NBC for “rewarding bad behavior.” She said, “You may remember the singer Chris Brown, he pleaded guilty to beating his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Sane Americans were disgusted by his bad behavior but that did not stop him from getting top billing this morning on the ‘Today’ show.” (Ace Showbiz)
Brown’s “Body 2 Body” collaborator Ace Hood has also vouched for the singer.
Ace shares that Chris is really cool and easy to work with — and that people are just hating on him for his success. “He’s a real dude,” reveals Ace. “He’s a star. That’s what people do everytime, being that he got into the altercation in the past — he’s reached the top of success again. That’s all that it is. People want to criticize at the end of the day.
