Rapper 50 Cent has addressed the recent lawsuit filed by Rick Ross' ex-girlfriend after he released and narrated sex tape of her last year.
50 is confident in the faults on the plaintiff’s side.
“That wasn’t me, that was Pimpin’ Curly….a person tries to say, you’ve done a mental harm to them. Then they might want to consider the recordings of Rick Ross saying that she’s an actual call girl. Or the pamphlets that I’m showing in the tape, that’s saying that she’s available. So how distraught is she that a tape went out? They think I bought the tape, I didn’t even buy it.” (Miss Info)
According to reports, a complaint was filed in New York last month.
Lastonia Leviston filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in Manhattan, claiming unauthorized use of her name or image and emotional distress caused by the public release of a video she made with an unidentified man in 2008. In the tape, Leviston is seen showing off a tattoo on her chest with the initials “RR,” seemingly in reference to Ross, and 50 is heard providing exaggerated voice-over narration to the action in his wigged “Pimpin’ Curly” persona. 50 Cent released the controversial tape last year and narrated it using his “Pimpin’ Curly” voice.
“Now look man, I’m gonna show you some sh*t man,” Curly says in the video’s intro. “She says she loves the n*gga, I thought she was with Ricky…Oh this is cold blooded, man…Tape only been on for one minute 30 seconds, you’re dead…Look at the stretch marks on the stomach from Ricky daughter…I want you to watch this on your tour bus, Ricky…Now how the f*ck you gonna say you a boss and you run a motherf*cking crew and can’t even control your b*tches. Is this n*gga licking on the Rick Ross tattoo…This n*gga sold me the motherf*cking tape, man. That’s my motherf*cking n*gga! He made one of my singles. One of Ross’ other baby mother’s, Tia Kemp, shared her reaction to the footage last May.
“I ain’t even getting a phone call [from Ross], he won’t return from my texts, my son wanna talk to him,” Kemp said in an interview. “Haven’t seen him since January, when he stole the truck. I don’t know what’s up with him…N*gga you ain’t got to talk to me but holla at your son because I ain’t gonna stop you from loving him. He stopped paying his child support, the last two months he hasn’t sent a check or nothing…[After seeing the sex tape] I just feel sorry for her daughters, it’s sad. And then she did an interview in Hip-Hop Weekly saying that her older daughter saw the tape. It’s just sad, you know? I can understand you doing some things when you were 17, 18 years-old but god d*mn, once you become a mother, there’s certain things you just can’t [do]. There’s no control in that household. My son dyin’ to see the sh*t. My two older sons dying to see the sh*t. I can’t let them see it though, they’ve been wanting to see it. I got a 12 year-old and 10 year-old.” (Shade 45)
