There are a few people I haven’t worked with before [featured] on this album: Little Dragon, B.o.B, Kelly Rowland, Big K.R.I.T. and others. There’s a lot of surprises on [this project]. The features I use are to basically accent certain parts of the song. You know, after being in a group with Dre for so many years, I can’t listen to myself on a whole album just back to back to back to back. I’ll throw up. So [the features] are just to break it up. Also, certain people bring different elements to the record. When I work with artists, you’ll see that I put them in a different light than people are used to seeing them in.
