Timbaland’s Makes Jay-Z Apology Song, Eminem’s Hollywood Star Beef, Game Gets His Whip Crushed?
Wasted Wednesday. It’s a day not to waste so let’s kick things off with Timbaland revealing his apology song to Jay-Z? Speaking of apologies, does someone need to step in-between Eminem and his alleged Hollywood rival? You would think the person who smashed into Game’s whip would be an immediate rival but as the rapper tells it, there’s a loophole. All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Apology 2013
Timbaland has been known for having a great relationship with Jay-Z over the past decade or so, but he recently admitted there were some tensions between himself and the Hov One. While they’re back to being best pals, Timbaland feels like he still has a lot to get off of his chest, including a song apologizing to Jay-Z? Hip-Hop-N-More has the scoop:
By now, we all know that Jay-Z and Timbaland had a fallout after The Blueprint 3. In his interview with Zane Lowe, Hov mentioned that the trouble started when Timbo-produced tracks from the album started leaking on the internet. In a chat with Revolt TV, Timbo clarifies that the cold relationship was mainly his fault and reveals that he has recorded an apology song / verse with Keri Hilson. (HHNM)
Is an apology song really necessary? Considering how hard it is to get a hold of Jay-Z, it doesn’t seem too surprising though that Timbaland would figure a song might reach him before a phone call. Is there any chance we’ll heard this record? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. It’s On
Did Eminem ever have a beef with Matt Damon? If so, he did not give Damon the treatment we’ve seen him deliver to Mariah Carey, Benzino and many other memorable arch rivals through the course of many years. It turns out there may have been something brewing and could still be brewing. Complex has the skinny:
Another fun fact for your Hollywood trivia nights or whatever: Back in 2011, The Fighter producer David Hoberman revealed to the LA Times that the lead role of Micky Ward, eventually given to Mark Wahlberg, was actually first written for Eminem during the development process. Then, Matt Damon was offered the role of Micky’s half-brother, Dicky Eklund, that eventually went to Christian Bale. Later, when Wahlberg took the role as Micky, Eminem was again considered as a possible addition to the cast—this time for the role of Dicky. So, basically, the two have been duking it out (kind of) when it comes to move roles for years, and UOENO. Mind blown? (Complex)
Is there any chance this could all be a big mistake and something is being taken out of context? It seems a bit hard to believe Eminem would really have a big issue with Matt Damon. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
Is Game a loving person? You would think so after letting a woman get away with smashing his vehicle. We’ve seen Game go off on people in the past and to see him play off this accident is pretty interesting to say the least. TMZ has the footage:
– Watch More
Hot chicks catch all the breaks in Hollywood … just ask The Game, who appeared to give a full pardon to a woman who smashed into his BMW last night … just because she was attractive. Game was outside Tru nightclub with his posse … when some lady in a Mercedes punched the gas pedal — while her car was in reverse — slamming her ride into Game’s white Beemer while he was standing right in front of the car. But Game didn’t even get upset … ’cause when the driver emerged from her car and walked over to the rapper to apologize, he instantly forgave her … and it’s obvious why. “She cracked the whip! She cracked the Beemer … but I’m such a G, that I ain’t even trip!” Game later summed up the situation perfectly — “Cute girls get away with sh*t.” (TMZ)
Is this a new turn for Game? Could the world be seeing a newer, nicer, more mature version of the rapper? Or is this just him giving a pass to a pretty young thing? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
