Did Benzino Set Himself Up, Wu-Tang’s $5 Mil Offer, Nicki Minaj Plays Dumb To Hollywood Star?
Twisted Thursday. It’s a day where things are twisted all over the place, so why not start it off with Benzino possibly setting himself up to lose in the publicized nephew shooting? Speaking of craziness, did the Wu-Tang Clan really receive a $5 million offer for a CD that might not even really exist? If you’re clueless, so was Nicki Minaj during the filming of her new flick? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. They Textin’
Did Benzino put himself in a very situation? That might be the case with rumors about him sending death threats to his nephew. You know, the one who shot him in the arm? All Hip Hop Rumors is all over it:
Benzino is one lucky man. He got hit with a couple of bullets that were meant to take that life of his. But, his nephew has made some serious claims that may bury Zino Grigio! The nephew said that he and Zine exchanged text messages where Zino had threatened his life so badly that he didn’t even roll to Zino’s funeral with his family. He said he was scared so he dumped bullets in Zino ON SIGHT. Now, he’s totally registered to carry that gun and he also is apparently in security. So, this may be in his favor. I don’t know, BUT…the text messages are what may cause a unique situation for Zino. If there are these threats, they could be damning information on some level or another. And with the state of laws like Stand You Ground, dude’s state of mind could truly come into play. (AHH Rumors)
If this is true, could things really turn bad for Benzino in a hurry? We’ve all seen those “First 48″ shows and text messages could be used against anyone. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Protect Ya Checks
How much would you pay for a one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album? $15? $30? $5 million? It looks like some serious bids for a new Wu-Tang Clan album have been made, at least according to RZA. Eurweb has the info:
The Wu-Tang Clan’s unprecedented plan to produce just one copy of its new double album in order to increase its value is already paying off big time.
According to RZA, the group has already received seven-figure offers for the one-off 31-track record, called “The Wu – Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.”
“Offers came in at $2 million, somebody offered $5 million yesterday,” RZA said. “I’ve been getting a lot of emails: some from people I know, some from people I don’t know, and they’re also emailing other members of my organization.”
“So far, $5 million is the biggest,” the rapper (real name Robert Diggs) added. (Eurweb)
Could this be true or just a way for RZA to spark some interest? While we all love the Wu-Tang Clan, it’s hard to imagine anyone wanting to put up that kind of money for a Wu project. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. You Don’t Know My Name
Has Nicki Minaj really gone Hollywood? It seems like being a rap star may not have been enough and she’s taking over the big screen. A pretty wild story on Nicki not knowing an actress’ name is catching some attention. The Daily Mail UK has the info:
She can be seen making a cameo role in The Other Woman later this year.
But now Nicki Minaj’s co-star Leslie Mann has revealed that the singer did very little to ingratiate herself on the set of the movie, and didn’t even learn her name.
Leslie said: ‘Nicki Minaj never remembered my name. She just referred to me as “lady”.
‘She would just say, “Come, lady”. And I was like, “OK!” ‘ (The Daily Mail UK)
Ouch? Could Nicki have just felt the pressure of being on-set with Hollywood stars? Is Minaj just feelings herself too much? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
