Nicki Minaj’s Drunk Drake Lap Dance, Donald Sterling’s Gay Accusation, Orlando Jones’ Bullet Bucket Challenge?
Finally Friday. It’s been a race to the finish line this week, so why not get everything started with Nicki Minaj admitting she gave Drake a drunk lap dance? Speaking of ladies, did V. Stiviano just accuse Donald Sterling of being gay? On a more serious note, could a Bullet Bucket Challenge be needed to raise awareness for Mike Brown? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Drunk In Love
Did Nicki Minaj go too far with her lapdance on Drake in the new “Anaconda” music video? After watching the scene again, you have to wonder if a little bit of alcohol really pushed things to the edge for her. Cosmopolitan is on it:
Nicki Minaj premiered her “Anaconda” video to much fanfare Wednesday. Because she cares about her fans, she shared a few behind-the-scenes tidbits on Twitter, including some more information about the lap dance that left Drake’s anaconda in a very happy mood. When asked if the private show she gave to Drake’s crotch was choreographed or not, Nicki replied that it was “all drunk freestyle.” And though Drake himself has already admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed the dance, Nicki further confirmed that it made him “very happy.” Well, of course it did. The man has eyes, doesn’t he? (Cosmopolitan)
Does this change your perspective of Drake and Nicki? Do you still think there’s love in the air or did Nicki need to be under the influence to pull everything off? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
Could the twist of Donald Sterling be him actually turning out to be gay? The craziness with the V. Stiviano/Donald Sterling drama continues onward. TMZ has the skinny:
V. Stiviano has just filed new legal docs in her war with Shelly Sterling — claiming she NEVER slept with Donald Sterling … ’cause he’s into men and she was his beard.
TMZ Sports has obtained the lawsuit — which Stiviano filed in response to Shelly’s allegations that V. accepted cars and property from Donald that he didn’t have the authority to give her.
In the new docs, Stiviano argues that the items in question were given to her in exchange for being Donald’s “beard” — and she insists Shelly knew about it.
Stiviano states … she was “not ever a sexual partner of Donald T. Sterling” and “believes that [Sterling] is a homosexual and enjoys sexual acts and or sexual congress with males.” (TMZ)
Is this just too crazy to believe? Can you believe this? Is V. Stiviano just looking for a reason to be relevant? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. The Challenge
The ASL Ice Bucket Challenge has turned widespread but should we put more focus on justice being served for violence after Mike Brown’s death? Orlando Jones has taken a stand. Essence is up on it:
In his “Bullet Bucket Challenge,” Jones dumps shell casing over his head to represent the lives lost to violence. “What’s happening in Ferguson looks like a copycat because we’ve seen it happening in so many other cities around the world,” he said. “It’s this us vs. them mentality.”
Jones admits that he is a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association and a special member of the Louisiana police force. In an interview with Fusion, he explains that he joined the NRA because he wanted to “affect change in the organization.”
“I had a cross burned in my front yard when I was in the 6th grade,” he said. “I grew up in the Deep South and I have a very intimate relationship with race. My father carried a gun. Did he carry it because he was some thug or anarchist or wanted to hurt people? No, he wanted to protect his family.”
The actor says he challenges himself, and everyone, “to listen without prejudice, to love without limits, and to reverse the hate.” (Essence)
