Meek Mill’s Party Gets Shot Up, Tyga’s Latest Well-Done Treat, Jay Z Eyes Next Roc Nation Signee?

Moving Monday. We’re moving all over the place today, so why not get things started with Meek Mill‘s party ending in gunfire? If you want to hear some good music and not worry about your safety, mess with Tyga’s new Well Done 4 mixtape. Speaking of someone with a strong mixtape buzz, could a a certain West Coast rapper be headed to Roc Nation? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. They Shootin’

Is it safe to go to hip-hop concerts anymore? It seems like violence can happen at any show. It looks like that turned out to be the case at Meek Mill’s Delaware concert over the weekend. Complex has some info:

Meek Mill performed a concert at the Moodswing Nightclub in Wilmington, Delaware early Saturday morning. However, following the concert, multiple gunshots rang out in the club. It is believed that there was more than one shooter, but as of now police do not have any suspects identified. Meanwhile, four people were injured in the shooting. While all four were taken to the hospital, none of them suffered life-threatening injuries. (Complex)

Don’t you have to get searched before entering clubs? At least for weapons? Meek Mill has stayed quiet about what happened but hopefully someone is arrested for putting everyone’s lives in danger. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. Well Done Delight

Young Money’s Tyga might be a father and have one of the most pretty video vixen baby mothers in the industry, but that’s not slowing him down a bit. The Young Money rapper is treating everyone to some free goodness. Miss Info TV has the scoop:

Tyga turns into Santa Claus, giving fans an early Christmas gift by releasing Well Done 4. Executive produced by Jess Jackson, the 14-track collection includes appearances from Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Sean Kingston, Pusha T, French Montana, Migos, and more.

Well Done 4 serves as a lead up to T-Raww’s The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty due early next year, lead by the single “Wait a Minute” with Justin Bieber. (Miss Info TV)

Is this a good teaser to lead up to his new album? Tyga is due for a big album and this could make for a nice treat before the real project arrives. #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. It’s The Roc

Is Jay Z still focused on building his Roc Natino empire after the success of his Roc Nation Sports? That appears to be the case and what better artist than Nipsey Hussle to join? All Hip Hop Rumors has the info:

I ain’t even gonna play with y’all. I heard that the boy Nipsey Hussel is now ROC NATION! I’ve got very little else to say about it. But, stay tuned. Its Sunday. We chillin hard…but, there’s more. You might remember, Jay Z bought 100 copies of Nipsey’s Crenshaw album, which was priced at $100. That’s $10k. That’s love and respect. (AHH Rumors)

Jay Z did buy a lot of Nipsey’s projects. Could this be a good look for Jay? His Roc Nation roster could use a boost of some West Coast love. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
