Lil Wayne Joins The Twerk Movement, New 50 Cent Music Drops, Breaking Bad Spin-Off?
Thirsty Thursday. There’s a dire need of fulfilling thirst as we head toward Friday, especially starting things off with Lil Wayne joining in on a twerk competition? Speaking of things we’d all love to see, it looks like 50 Cent‘s music career still has life courtesy of a new video premiering. Something else worth watching happens to be a “Breaking Bad” spin-off? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Never Tune Late?
Isn’t Lil Wayne a bit late to just now start enjoying the beauty of twerking? You would think so but considering his target audience and what comes with twerking, it’s unlikely anyone will complain. He showed just how much of a fan he is of twerking. XXLMag has the footage:
During a recent concert in Vegas, Lil Wayne brought a crowd of lovely ladies on stage to perform with him. The women joined him on stage for a performance of Wayne’s verse on French Montana’s hit single”Pop That.” You can watch the entire video above. (XXL Mag)
Just when you think twerking has jumped the gun… #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Before He Self Destructs & Quits
Are we going to finally get a 50 Cent album this year? Fingers crossed. This might not be a trailer to a new album, but it could be a start with 50 releasing a music video for his “Can’t Help Myself” track. You Heard That New is on it:
50 Cent has been quiet lately on the music front, but today Fif drops a video for his record ‘Can’t Help Myself’ which was on his project “The Lost Tape” which was released last year. (You Heard That New)
Considering the lifestyle 50 has lived these past ten years, it’s hard to believe he’s still as hood as he claims to be. Then again, this is a track of what is supposed to be a mixtape so it’s good to hear 50 getting back to his gritty ways. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. Breaking Time
Breaking Bad is on the verge of ending for good and everyone is going to need to call someone to get over the pain and stress of such a great series bowing out. Better call Saul? Why not? Smoking Section has the skinny:
It’s been rumored for a long time but it looks like Bob Odenkirk’s sleazy lawyer, Saul Goodman, of Breaking Bad fame is actually, for-real, cross-AMC’s-heart-and-hope-to-die getting his own spin-off show.
AMC has reached a deal with Sony – which owns Breaking Bad – to produce a one-hour pilot, tentatively called Better Call Saul. And though the existence of Saul Goodman’s character post-Breaking Bad, which ends in three weeks, may seem like an inherent spoiler alert, it turns out that Better Call Saul will actually be a prequel. So no need to relax any time Saul has a gun pointed in his face any time within the next three Breaking Bad episodes.
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has been unequivocal in his desire to get a Saul pilot the greenlight since he first mentioned it publicly a little over a year ago. Still, despite Gilligan’s enthusiasm the project seemed unlikely to happen just because spin-offs are so rare…and spin-offs that actually don’t sound like they’ll suck are even rarer.
Writer-producer Peter Gould, who created the character back in season two of Breaking Bad, will run Better Call Saul with Vince Gilligan involved in some capacity.
Sadly a prequel means we likely won’t get to cherish more time with Huell but it does open the door for a very special episode: When Saul Met Gus. (Smoking Section)
Anyone who has watched Breaking Bad knows Saul is one of the best characters in the entire series. Very witty, funny and really an underrated star. Could this actually work, even if it is a spin-off? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
