Jay Z Proves He’s A Realist, Danny Brown’s Newest Beef, Grand Theft Auto V Street Photography?
Magnificent Monday. Most people have the day off today so why wouldn’t Monday be magnificent and start with Jay Z proving he is for the people? Speaking of people, it looks like Danny Brown might not be the best people person considering his newest beef. Maybe he should try sitting back and looking at the magnificent street photography found in Grand Theft Auto V? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

Who says Jay Z can’t be a Forbes Cash King and also conversate amongst the people? It looks like he used some common sense recently while out in London and decided to go with the fastest means to travel. Rap-Up is all over it:
Jay Z didn’t take the Maybach or Rolls to his sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena. Instead, the hip-hop tycoon opted for a less flashy mode of transportation.
Passengers were shocked to see Mr. Carter ride alongside them on the London Underground with his entourage including Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Timbaland. They brought out their camera phones and snapped pics of the superstars, who interacted with their fellow riders.
“Casually getting on a train with Jay Z, Chris Martin, and Timbaland,” tweeted one commuter, @aminott4.
This is not the first time Jay has taken public transportation to his concert. He rode the subway to his final show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last year. His fellow Roc Nation star Rihanna has also taken the tube to her O2 gigs.
After wrapping the European leg at the end of October, Jay will bring his “Magna Carter World Tour” to the U.S. on Nov. 30. (Rap-Up)
When you think about all of the attention Jay Z received from this, is there any reason to believe more hip-hop artists won’t try to make this a trend? You could show off new clothing lines, accessories, or even wear a t-shirt promoting a new album and be plastered all over social media. Could Jay have done this for publicity purposes? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Where’s The Love
It looks like Danny Brown just can’t keep himself out of confrontations. To make things really interesting, it seems like he’s getting into arguments with people he already knows or may be good friends with, which just makes everything more confusing. Complex is onto his latest rift:
Danny Brown has been on an extensive touring cicruit in 2013. With his album, Old, in stores this Tuesday, he was booked to open up for Pretty Lights, who just released A Color Map Of The Sun this summer, on a couple of spot dates this weekend. However, after the first of two dates in St. Louis, things have taken a turn for the worst, resulting in the two artists performing at separate venues tonight in Nashville.
According to Danny, the show was “trash” due to an inept soundman. According to Pretty Lights, Danny’s set was weak because in his anger at the lack of crowd response, he allegedly threw his microphone into the crowd. While the two accounts varied online, the resulting barbs exchanged between the two men on Twitter led to Danny insisting that he would not perform at tonight’s Pretty Lights concert in Nashville.
However, Danny decided that he would go to Nashville despite seemingly having the day off. At first he was just scouring the city for some barbeque. However, shortly after the fued simmered down somewhat, Danny announced that he now had a performance slated for tonight at a different venue from Greer Stadium, where Pretty Lights is performing. Instead, Danny will take the stage at Seen Nashville around 1AM.
Brown’s next tour date appears to be an October 25 performance at the Aragon Entertainment Center in Chicago. Following that he will be in Las Vegas for the Life Is Beautiful Festival on October 27. Who else is performing for that festival? Pretty Lights, of course. (Complex)
It’s quite interesting if you go to the actual article and see how much these two went back and forth with one another. It’s pretty intense to see those Twitter comments. Is Danny the real problem in these situations or is he just speaking the truth? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. Oh Snap!
If you thought the Grand Theft Auto V mania was going to slow down, you’re wrong. Or at least not until the Playstation 4 and Xbox One finally come out. It looks like we’ve reached the point where people are actually taking beautiful photos from within the game. Game screenshots is a thing of the past now in Grand Theft Auto V. IllRoots is on it:
Fernando Pereira Gomes, a street photographer from São Paulo, Brazil currently residing in New York, has translated his photography skills into the video game world with the extremely successful Grand Theft Auto 5. Fernando shoots all over the game’s surroundings of Los Santos, capturing images that almost appear as real. Take a look at some of his shots in the gallery above, and be sure to follow all of his work from this game on his Tumblr page. (IllRoots)
Once again, for a full, clearer idea of this you should go and visit the actual page. Never before has gaming felt so real based on these images. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
