Diddy Teams W/ NFL Giant, Pusha T Keeps The Cameras Rolling, Kim K Gets A Rhinestone Facial?
Working Wednesday. It’s a day of working so what better person to illustrate that than non-stop entertainer Diddy working with one of the NFL’s best? You may not consider Pusha T the best rapper alive but watching him up close away from the microphone and bearing himself, you may have a lot more respect for him. Someone you should give respect to is Kim Kardashian and her decision to hide her face for a new fashion book cover. All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Hut, Hut, Take That
Does Diddy ever take a day off? Just when it looks like he might catch his breath, Diddy shows he’s a one-man band-man and goes to do a new commercial with the Detroit Lions’ Calvin “Megatron” Johnson. 2 Dope Boyz has the goods:
Nike just revealed their new “Calvin & Johnson” commercial starring Calvin Johnson and Diddy. In the clip above, the Detroit Lion wide receiver separates into two personas… “Calvin” who focuses on football and nothing else and “Johnson” (Diddy) who focuses on the fame. (2 Dope Boz)
If anyone could illustrate the fame side of the industry, it’s definitely Diddy. Can we start to expect more checks being cut from Nike for Diddy? This is a pretty big look, especially with the NFL season one day away. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Push It To The Limit
Pusha T’s long-awaited solo album is almost here, just one month and a few days away from finally coming out. So as you would imagine, Pusha is doing some pretty serious promo to lead up to it. Miss Info TV has the scoop on his new documentary series:
Little did we know that COMPLEX’s EIC Noah Callahan-Bever was riding shotgun with Pusha T during his recent trip to Jamaica. While Pyrex shot his “Blocka” video, NCB was able to get some candid interview moments with G.O.O.D Music’s own blow dealer. In part 1, Push opens up about making sure he steps out of Virginia during his career just to show his hometown brethren that the rap world expands way past the state’s borders. Look out for multiple parts to be released leading up to the release of My Name Is My Name. [“I’m not making any music that has me stepping out of my zone.” Push illustrates the fame of Pharrell Williams and Kanye West as well as articulates his relationship with them and where his presence fits into the fold. He states, “My job is to keep bringing this hot shit to table, and to keep letting them know what’s hot out there.”] (Miss Info TV)
Does watching this have you even more hyped to get Pusha’s new LP next month? The cover art is out, the collaborations are starting to surface and the promo is getting more intense. Could there be any more setbacks or is the real deal coming out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. All Rhinestone-Everything
For someone who said she wants to do a nude magazine spread in the near future, it’s pretty interesting to see Kim Kardashian deciding to let her face almost go unnoticed on the cover of a new Fashion Book. Highsnobiety is all over this:
For the new Fall/Winter 2013 issue of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book, Karl Lagerfeld captured a pregnant Kim Kardashian. Entitled “Miss USA”, the spread’s creative direction was done by none other than Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci. The story actually made the cover, with Kardashian wearing a rhinestone encrusted full face mask. (Highsnobiety)
Without the description, could anyone tell this is Kim Kardashian’s face? Could she have taken some influence from Kanye West for this? Is this just a new creative side of her coming out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
That about wraps it up for today. This is SOHH On The Spot giving you the morning scoop from your favorite gossip sites.
