Da Brat’s Case Gets Ra-Ta-Ta-Tatted, Dru Hill’s Too Broke To Retire, Rap’s Only Legit Skater & It’s Not Lil Wayne?
Working Wednesday. It’s a day full fo work, work, work, so why not get things going with Da Brat having her legal team having to wait things out in a serious court case? Speaking of working, do Dru Hill have to keep putting in work in order to let their families eat? One person more focused on skating than eating might be Tyler, the Creator? But what about Lil Wayne? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. The Waiting Game
Did you know Da Brat was out of jail? It’s no secret she’s been released but considering how quiet things have been, it doesn’t feel like Brat has been putting out fresh hits. Could it be because she has a serious court case on her head? TMZ is up on it:

Da Brat just got swept up in the immigration mess … because a juror in her civil trial LIED about being a citizen and now the trial has been derailed and the fraudulent juror is in jail.
The rapper is being sued for allegedly cracking a rum bottle over the head of a former Atlanta Falcon’s cheerleader.
One of the jurors is a legal resident of Atlanta but NOT a U.S.citizen. But the dude lied to the judge and swore under oath 3 TIMES he was a full-fledged American.
The judge was LIVID … berating the juror as he declared a mistrial and then holding him in contempt and then ordering him hauled off to the slammer.
BTW … the bogus juror cost the county $25K. (TMZ)
Who do you feel more sorry for? The juror or Da Brat? The real question is what does this mean for Da Brat’s future? Are we going to hear some new music or keep waiting things out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. Money In The Bank
We’ve all heard about reunions and groups coming back together for the fans but is the only reason Dru Hill are still rocking because of the all mighty dollar? That seems to be the case. Even with all of their hits, could they still be needing the money that badly? TMZ is once again up on it:
Real talk last week after a Dru Hill show in DC — the 90s R&B group said they’re still kickin’ for one reason and one reason only … to put food on the table for their families.
The singers were sitting for an interview Wednesday with AOSTL media group reporter Donna Jones — she tried to ask how the guys deal with the ups and downs of a music career … and Sisqo tried to give a thoughtful response … but his pal Nokio cut him off.
We won’t ruin it … but Nokio doesn’t mince words.
Another highlight: “The rainbow led to the pot of hos.” The video gets hilarious pretty quickly. (TMZ)
If you watch the video, they seem pretty happy together and a little aggressive with the language for some R&B guys. Is there one collaboration they could use to make their money woes go away forever? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
3. Best Rap Skater Alive
Is Lil Wayne the greatest skater alive? It’s possible but not if you ask skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. According to him, the realest one has to be Tyler, the Creator? That sounds about right, right? TMZ is again all over this:

Sorry Lil Wayne … Tony Hawk says there’s one rapper who’s skateboard skills are FOR REAL … and it ain’t Weezy.
“Honestly, the best skater that I’ve seen who raps is Tyler the Creator,” Hawk says.
“He really can skate … He’s legit.”
Tyler’s been skating for years — and he’s got the scars to show it. In fact, he once got 6 staples in his head after injuring himself in a skating accident when he was 14.
As for Wayne, Tony says he has seen him out on his board — but in the nicest way possible, told us the guy’s just not a natural. (TMZ)
You have to give it up to Tyler, he’s really about that skate life! But does that mean Lil Wayne is going to have new motivation? Shouldn’t Tyler and Wayne just link up for the lessons alone? Wayne could give Tyler some rapping insides in exchange for skating tips? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
