Two of Boston’s dopest in hip-hop, 7L and Esoteric, teamed up with Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck to bring fans the latest in real music with their LP, CZARFACE. From Ghostface Killah to Mr. Muthaf*ckin eXquire, this trio produced feature-filled album that gives people something to bump to. 1. The Features!
I think Oh No—the way that came about—I just think that worked perfectly for what I envisioned. When the beat was sent out and what I was expecting, I really like the way that came together. It was natural. I thought he complimented the beat perfectly. He said he was down to do it, and he nailed it. Obviously working with Ghostface was incredible. They were all great. I think all the features worked. I couldn’t have asked for more from a feature. Sometimes you get a verse and you talk to somebody and they’re not really catching the actual vibe of what you’re trying to do, but in this case, I think all the features worked perfectly. –7L
