On the unexpected release, the "Snowman" hints at possibly dropping his next LP on another label.

Winter is long gone and The Snowman is ready to heat up the summer. Young Jeezy hits the hoods nationwide, letting off a banger for the streets with "Me Ok." Premiered by Xclusives Zone, Snow Go brings that southern slang over the menacing production of long-time collaborator Drumma Boy. "When L.A. Reid was in office, made some history up at Def Jam/ If Jizzle ain't dropping ni**a, what the f**k is Def Jam?. I know you heard how your boy bossed up at Atlantic/ Boss s**t, might just drop my next album on Atlantic...damn." (Miss Info TV)

Last year, Def Jam's Jadakiss said the headaches he experienced there were no different than what fellow labelmates Jeezy and Fabolous had gone through.

"Me, I'm always sitting on an album though," Jada said when asked about his delayed solo album. "We're always sitting on material. My situation over there at Def Jam is a different [complication]. Def Jam is different right now. I ain't just speaking for myself. You can ask Fab, you can ask Jeezy, [Rick] Ross, you can ask Kanye, anybody. So it got to be right and it got to feel right. Until then, I'm just doing [my thing]. They got this new thing where it's like you're auditioning. I got a whole album. See, with that, it's a lot of stuff people won't ever heard. [Hot 97 executive] Pecas has been to the studio, he's been up there, before [former Def Jam head] Joie left, he been up there. He knows what it is. But I don't know what's going on. I ain't tripping, I'm just working. That's all we do, make music. ... Who don't want to put their album out? I'm just not gonna pass it to you like it's nothing. It's not going to be a filler or a quota." (Hot 97)

In November, Juelz Santana posted a screenshot of some Jeezy anti-Def Jam comments onto his Instagram page and added his own two cents.

"???????? SMH #SadButTrue it's like being In Bed Wit A Bad Bi$$h But Can F*k her ????????#!! GodWillN2 #OnTheWay ?????????," Juelz wrote November 19. (Juelz Santana's Instagram)

Juelz also posted up a few Twitter remarks to fully back Jeezy.

"RT @YoungJeezy: N*ggas @ @DefJamRecords keep playing games if you want! >> dam I Thought it was Jus Me Smh!!," Santana tweeted November 19.
"RT @YoungJeezy: where @LA_Reid when u need him #RIPShakirStewart >> Word!!!" (Juelz Santana's Twitter)

In a brief Twitter rant, the "Snowman" threatened to leak his own project if Def Jam did not get it together.

"where @LA_Reid when u need him #RIPShakirStewart," Jeezy tweeted November 12.
"I been perfecting this album 2 years for #myfans"
"N*ggas @ @DefJamRecords keep playing games if you want!"
"If Def Jam don't get this right y'all got an early xmas gift #myfans"
"This about that fans! That's all!"
