Exclusive: Consequence Undresses His 'Bottle Girls' Reactions: "I [Didn't] Want To Have A Biggie & Xscape Situation At All"

[With his new "Bottle Girls" anthem making its arounds across music outlets this week, "Love & Hip Hop" star Consequence tells SOHH readers about the reactions he has received thus far.]
It's really been a lot of love since the song came out. I went out to the club the other night and played it for Bernice [Burgos] and Lynda Rose and they love it. I didn't want it to be nothing crass for the ones I don't know. I don't want to sit there and have a Biggie and Xscape situation at all like, 'D*mn, it's f*cked up you dissed me.' That's why I really did some research.
I wanted to make sure everybody was somebody I could look directly in the eye like, 'It's a pleasure fantasizing about you.' I just recently met Kathy Red and she really is a pretty girl in-person. Really pretty. Really pretty. I can't even front. She's a person I didn't really know but Charisse [Mills] reintroduced me to her because they're friends and of course her Instagram is crazy and she's really pretty. It's like, 'D*mn, you're really, like, pretty.'
I was actually just decoding Kathy Red's line on Rap Genius and explained how I referenced Kathy Griffin because of her association with rappers and then Kathy being a red head, that was ultimately my fantasy girl, Kathy Red.
Even with Biggie's "Dreams" record, his whole sh*t was the Toni Braxton and name-dropping Mariah and Halle Berry. It was really just from a fan standpoint because this is the sh*t guys think about.
We're in social media these days and what I have to be aware of that Biggie didn't have to be aware of now is social media.
