News: Meek Mill Wants His City To Put On For Him, MMG Member Demands Millions

Maybach Music Group's Meek Mill reportedly wants millions from his hometown after accusing the Philadelphia police department of cheating him out of a huge contract.
According to reports, Meek believes a wrongful arrest back in October 2012 set him back at least $2 million.
Meek says he was cuffed for refusing to let cops search -- and he ended up missing a private jet flight to Atlanta. Meek claims he lost $22k on the cancelled jet and a $39K appearance fee for the A-Town party he missed. In the docs, he also claims he took a hit in negotiating a $2 million deal with Puma because all the negative pub from the arrest ... forced him to settle for a mere $650K. Meek is suing the city of Philly for false imprisonment, invasion of privacy ... and most importantly (we suspect) to get back some of that lost dough. (TMZ)
Outside of legal woes, Meek is working on his long-awaited solo album, Dreams Worth More Than Money.
Titled Dreams Worth More Than Money, the new album will be hitting shelves this summer, according to Meek, who was alongside his MMG captain during his Mastermind spectacular held at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles. The announcement of the new album arrives as the Philly rapper has been teasing fans with an upcoming track called "She Don't Know," which features Ty Dolla $ign. (REVOLT TV)
Although the project is still in production, the rap star recently revealed it is near completion.
Dreams Worth More Than Money will serve as the followup to Meek's 2012 debut album, Dreams & Nightmare. That LP produced several hits, including the Drake-featured "Amen," the summer sizzler "Burn" (with Big Sean) and street-approved "Dreams and Nightmares." "We like 80% done," Meek says about the new LP, which will feature assistance from some big names like Diddy, Rozay, DJ Khaled, Jadakiss, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and many more. (REVOLT TV)
While Meek kept mum on the details, he did recently admit the project would drop in the coming months.
"I'm working on my album right now, coming out in the spring," Meek said in an interview. "You know, I dropped an album last year, so, I'm working on my new album. I'm about 70 percent done. I'm working on the 24K headphones [made] by Monster, they're sold out on the Internet right now." (VLAD TV)
