Young Money's Drake has not yet received a public response from speculated rap foe Jay Z just yet for his new "Draft Day" track, however, a former Major League Baseball star has reacted.

Former MLB superstar Jose Canseco kept his response short and to the point following a name-drop off the new record.

"@drake your funny," Canseco tweeted April 2. (Jose Canseco's Twitter)

The comment followed an unexpected response from his girlfriend Leila Knight.

"It would be nice if a rapper can say my hfs name in a song and not make a reference to steroids . Lol . @Drake," Knight tweeted April 2.
"@JosieCanseco come visittttttt me and your daddyyyy @JoseCanseco Chiquita banana" (Leila Knight's Twitter)

On Drizzy's new record, he clearly makes reference to the one-time Oakland A's star.

"See whatever I say goes/I play like I'm on 'roids, no Canseco/No Oakland A's though, shout out the Bay though/I think I'm on my eighth flow, just watch me paint flow" ("Draft Day")

The Young Money rapper dropped his unexpected "Draft Day" to the masses early Wednesday (April 2).

The Canadian rapper gives shout-outs for soon-to-turn-pro quarterback (and good buddy) Johnny Manziel, NBA star-in-the-waiting Andrew Wiggins, actor Jennifer Lawrence ("You could really get it") and there's a namecheck for Chance The Rapper. Drake's track samples Lauryn Hill's 1998 "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" -- no mean feat considering Kanye West couldn't get a sample cleared from the Fugees singer back in 2004. (Billboard)
