Young Money's Drake is not slowing down his arsenal-like release of new music following the unexpected dropping of "Draft Day" and has put out another audio gem.

The Toronto native's newest track comes in the form of "Days in the East."

Following Tuesday's premiere of "Draft Day", he's now shared the studio version of "Days in the East", the song he previously debuted live in concert last month. It's a slow-burning love song, apparently dedicated to his girlfriend Rihanna (the song even samples Rihanna's "Stay" at one point). It was produced by frequent collaborators Noah "40? Shebib and PartyNextDoor. (Consequence of Sound)

Despite the perception, some online outlets have questioned when the track was made.

It's unclear if this is a leftover from Drake's latest LP Nothing Was the Same (similar to December's "Trophies") or taken from an entirely different project, though he has reportedly already begun work on his next album. (Consequence of Sound)

Mr. Drizzy dropped his unexpected "Draft Day" to the masses early Wednesday (April 2).

The Canadian rapper gives shout-outs for soon-to-turn-pro quarterback (and good buddy) Johnny Manziel, NBA star-in-the-waiting Andrew Wiggins, actor Jennifer Lawrence ("You could really get it") and there's a namecheck for Chance The Rapper. Drake's track samples Lauryn Hill's 1998 "Doo-Wop (That Thing)" -- no mean feat considering Kanye West couldn't get a sample cleared from the Fugees singer back in 2004. (Billboard)

While he does not name-drop rap mogul Jay Z, Drizzy clearly speaks on being singled out with his new anthem.

Drake unveiled a new song called 'Draft Day' this week, with fans speculating that the lyrics relate to Jay-Z's recent freestyle comments. "I heard they talking crazy, I was out of town. You know they love to pop all that s**t when I'm not around," Drake's lyrics read. "But when I'm here, psst, not a sound." (Capital FM)
