Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West isn't the only hip-hop star teaming with mega sneaker giant Adidas as reports claim The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams has now joined the fold.

According to reports, Skateboard P's own signature collection will arrive as early as this summer.

PHARRELL WILLIAMS has teamed up with Adidas Originals to design a collection that will debut this summer. The range will be created with the singer's eco-friendly Bionic Yarn, which is made using plastic debris from the sea through international collective The Vortex Project. "Working with an iconic brand like Adidas is such an incredible opportunity," said Williams. "From the classic tracksuit, to growing up in Virginia wearing Stan Smiths, Adidas has been a staple in my life. Their pieces are timeless. This is an exciting partnership for both me and for Bionic Yarn." (Vogue)

No stranger to high-profile collaborations, Pharrell has a long history of working with established apparel brands.

And to be fair, he's had more than enough practice, Pharrell once headed up the creative direction for Reebok's now defunct Ice Cream trainer line, and has also worked with brands A Bathing Ape, Timberland, and Palladium. (Glamour Magazine)

Along with the new business venture, Pharrell also has his own signature fragrance set to release this upcoming fall.

There's a new G I R L in Pharrell Williams' life. Following the release of his album, the "Happy" singer is set to debut his first fragrance this fall. Pharrell has partnered with Japanese fashion brand Comme des Garçons for G I R L, a unisex scent named after his latest project. "I am so honored to be working with Comme des Garçons and cherish the education that I've experienced in this collaboration," Pharrell told WWD. (Rap-Up)

His new G I R L album debuted on the sales chart earlier this month.

Debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 is Pharrell Williams' second album, "G I R L." The singer-rapper-producer's new set sold a larger-than-expected 112,000 in its first week. The album's lead single, the inescapable "Happy," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 three weeks ago. One day before the release of "G I R L" on Monday, March 3, Williams performed "Happy" on the Academy Awards, where it was nominated for best original song. While the cut didn't win the trophy for Williams ("Let It Go" from "Frozen" took the honor), the global exposure certainly didn't hurt him. (Billboard)
