News: Kid Cudi Takes Soft Jab At Drake? "All I Wanted To Do Was Help Kids Not Feel Alone"

Former G.O.O.D. Music member Kid Cudi may have to watch out for all of the Team Drizzy fans out there after appearing to take a slight jab at Young Money's Drake in a new interview.
Appearing on "Arsenio" heading into the weekend, Cudder made a playful joke about the platinum-selling rap star.
"All I wanted to do was help kids not feel alone, and stop kids from committing suicide." That's when Kid Cudi decided to lighten the mood by throwing Drizzy under the bus, saying that if he rapped about all of his possessions, "there would be no Drake." Ouch! It's also a huge shot at Drake and his ego, as Cudi is basically saying that the only reason Drake is successful is because he left the market open by rapping about emotions and suicide instead of Bentleys and strip clubs. Outside of the Drizzy moment, Cudder recently confirmed buzz about his on-screen Entourage: The Movie role.
You'll next be seen in the upcoming Entourage movie as Ari's assistant. Is there anything you learned on the Need for Speed set that you'll take with you into this new project? Be prepared and be ready. A movie like this, a big-budget action film, is kind of like a couple of takes and you gotta be ready to go. I was like one of those guys anyway, flexing those muscles. The same thing will apply for Entourage. I'll be prepared and ready. Ari Gold don't play. (Entertainment Weekly)
Recent reports revealed the Entourage movie was slated to premiere nationwide in June 2015.
With production under way, Warner Bros. has set a release date for its "Entourage" movie of June 12, 2015. Based on the HBO show, the film includes the original cast of Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment also star as a father and son while returning cast members also include Perrey Reeves, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Rhys Coiro. (Variety)
Buzz about Cudder taking on the role of main character Ari Gold's assistant surfaced online a few weeks back.
EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros is just getting underway with the movie version of the hit HBO series Entourage. You know from the series that Ari Gold's long-suffering assistant Lloyd has moved up to rep. So Ari has found a new assistant, and that role will be played by Scott Mescudi, who is better known in hip-hop circles as Kid Cudi. Mescudi is about to open opposite Aaron Paul in the DreamWorks vidgame adaptation Need For Speed, and he just wrapped the films James White and Two Night Stand. (Deadline)
