Diehard Drake and Soulja Boy Tell Em fans are reportedly in for a treat with the upcoming release of their joint "We Made It" remix music video.
According to SB, the club banger will receive visuals in the near future and once again takeover the music biz.
"We gonna make a video for sure. Video is coming. The treatment is crazy. It's coming for sure. I think people are going to like it, man. I'm just turning up. I am just doing me. Drake, that's the homie. People really like that record. Everywhere I go, they play it. Everywhere, it is getting bigger than I thought it was going to be. You gotta catch up to it." (XXL Mag)
Soulja also dished on his connection to Drizzy after having him contribute to the anthem.
"You know, we shake the industry up. That's what we do man. We shake the industry up. I just like to make the music. I ain't gonna lie, when I first heard the record though, I sat down. I was looking down and I heard the beat. And I was like, "N*gga we made it! N*gga we made it!" (XXL Mag)
Recently, Soulja talked about remixing his hit with Drizzy.
"This is just a song we've been working on," SB told DJ Whoo Kid when asked how the new "We Made It" remix came together. "That was really like an intro record. It was like an intro record and Drake came like, 'This is crazy,' and we just put it out and the streets have just been loving it. It's crazy. ... I've been in the studio going crazy. I've just been focusing on the music, bruh. ... It's just being young and successful. If I was a regular person, [my arrest] wouldn't be as promoted and as it was and stuff like that." The Toronto native unleashed the revamped version of SB's hit in late December.
From the release of his third album to his five Grammy nominations, Drake caps off another successful year with his remix to Soulja Boy's "We Made It" off the latter's mixtape The King. The Toronto MC reflects on his rise from the bottom to the top before Soulja stunts on his haters. "New Years Eve Anthems on deck," tweeted Drizzy, who will host "SNL" on January 18. Next up, he plans to release the Hit-Boy-produced "Trophies," which he previewed at Brooklyn's Barclays Center in October. (Rap-Up)
