West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg is looking to the future these days after reportedly hooking up with one time media foe and television mogul Oprah Winfrey.

A new photo of Snoop Dizzle and Winfrey cozied up has surfaced online this weekend.

Snoop Dogg and Oprah have finally settled their beef ... after the rapper and Big O met up Friday night during an Oscar party. Snoop put Oprah on blast back in '08 for saying on her show he was prejudice against women. Snoop said he was pissed she didn't give him a chance to defend himself. Apparently the two have put the past behind them ... because last night Snoopzilla posted the pic of him and O with Gayle King, proclaiming "Black history.' (TMZ)

Back in 2008, Snoop came clean on his issues with the talk show icon.

Snoop Dogg has beef with Oprah Winfrey. "I don't like her no more," he said at the Hip-Hop Summit Action gala at Capitale on February 25, where he accepted an award. Last year, the talk-show queen did an episode on misogyny in hip-hop, and Snoop was held up as a prime offender--without being invited on the show to defend himself. "I really was offended, because I kind of like her," he said. "Liked her. I'm very articulate, very intellectual. She didn't even get a chance to even know me." (NY Mag)

With their relationship back on even ground, Snoop's ex-boss Suge Knight recalled the days when he relied on him through tough situations last year.

"My relationship with him is where it's supposed to be. It's respectful on both ends. I could never turn around and say I hate this mothaf*cka, because he's a part of my life and I'm a part of his life. There was times starting this business with Death Row that some people were scared to go out of town, scared to go to New York. I'd come grab him, we'd go straight to the airport, just me and him, no entourage, not one person with us. We'd get our room, we'd go hang out, we'd be everywhere. We would go there, post up, enjoy the city, respect the city, and that went so far. Therefore, I owe a lot of credit, and a lot of other people owe a lot of credit, because if Snoop's not gonna hit the road with me and hit all those spots, I couldn't have did it, because I'm the business man. I'm not the artist, I'm not the talent. And pretty much everyone else was scared to go." (Rolling Stone)

Last year, Snoop revealed he wanted to be a bigger man and finally put an end to their distanced relationship.

"I think time heals all wounds," Snoop said in an interview. "And then being a bigger man and being one who accepts responsibility and right or wrong, I like saving lives, I don't like to take lives. If that means putting my hand out saying I'm wrong, I apologize and we be cool, I'll do that as opposed to me going behind my back, pulling a gun out and getting somebody or me doing something vicious to you."
