[SOHH highlights a hot record every week and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the track in Singled Out. After Shanell aka SnL broke down her "Boy Stop Playin" record, ATL's Travis Porter dissect their Future-assisted "Don't We" hit.]
We ran into Future when he came back from touring and we were like, 'Yo, let's get it in.' And then the next day, he pulled up to the studio and we just started making music. That's how "Don't We" came out. -Ali
As far as our relationship with Future, it goes back about three years. The record wasn't made and then Future got on it, we actually made it right there with him. We were all in there and he made up some of the words and we put together some of the words. It was a real collaboration.
It wasn't like we had a song and were like, 'Hey, get on this!' It was a team effort. It was a Future record and it was hard. -Quez
The vibe was great. We had a couple single release parties. It's not really our official single, it's more of our street single. We had some single release parties and the deejays love it. The response has been crazy. People are loving it.
We're just working. We were actually in the studio with Future the other day and we have so much that you can look forward to. It's really just a young Atlanta movement going on right now. -Strap
