Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross is showing off his colorful, artistic side with new flashy artwork for his upcoming Mastermind deluxe album.
The revamped cover art shows Ricky Rozay appearing to blow his brains out.
Rick Ross pulls the trigger on the deluxe cover for his sixth album Mastermind. The illustrated artwork, designed by famed pop artist Mr. Brainwash, shows Rozay holding a gun to his head with colorful blood spurting out the other side. On February 11, the MMG boss will drop his new single "War Ready" featuring Jeezy, which he describes as "the hit single the streets have waited years for." He has been in the studio with DJ Khaled and Diddy putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2012?s God Forgives, I Don't. (Rap-Up)
Barring any setbacks, Rozay's newest solo offering will battle it out this March.
Teaming with REVOLT to make the official announcement via a cinematic trailer, the Bawse will be unleashing his biggest album to date on March 4, 2014. The 47-second teaser clip directed by Hype Williams finds the Maybach Music head honcho setting the scene for an LP that many are already expecting to be his sixth consecutive masterpiece. It was around this time last year that Ross announced the title of the album, which was followed by new singles like "Box Chevy" and "No Games," as well as an 8-city Mastermind Tour. Now with a brand new Jay Z-assisted single currently burning up the airwaves, the Bawse is back to take center position. (REVOLT TV)
In December, the "Bawse" promised his LP would arrive sometime in 2014.
"It's coming soon. Top of the year. Yeah. I still got to put a few details into it. I got to. Everybody will thank me later. [Guest features?] Bobby Womack. I collaborated with the legendary Bobby Womack. I got in the studio with a few people, man, just to do a lot of different things and it's gonna be some dope sh*t." (Rap-Up)
Along with Ross' new LP, A$AP Mob's new collective effort will face-off against his studio release March 4.
ASAP Mob is releasing their heavily anticipated L.O.R.D. group album on March 4th. The collective cut will feature new collaborations from ASAP Rocky, ASAP Ferg, ASAP Twelvyy, ASAP Nast, ASAP Ant, and we're assuming an all-star supporting cast of guest appearances. Since an official tracklist and cover art have yet to surface, stay tuned for more information. (XXL Mag)
