News: Kendrick Lamar & Pharrell Double Up, Set To Ball Out In New Orleans

Grammy-winning producer Pharrell Williams and Kendrick Lamar are reportedly headed down to New Orleans for next week's NBA All-Star Game festivities.
According to reports, Skateboard P's presence will be felt during the annual game's player introductions.
The NBA has unveiled the list of headlining musical artists at its All-Star Weekend in New Orleans later this month, with Pharrell Williams continuing his hot streak by headlining the Entertainment Series presented by Sean John at Macy's. The NBA All-Star Game will take place at New Orleans Arena on Feb. 16. Pharrell, whose solo hit "Happy" enters the Top 10 of the Hot 100 this week, will perform during the player introductions, and will be bringing out some special guests. (Billboard)
K. Dot will help ignite some excitement leading up to the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.
Kendrick Lamar has been tapped to headline the Saturday night (Feb. 15) of NBA All-Star weekend, with a performance prior to Sprite Slam Dunk. Finally, Clark Jr. and Serena Ryder have been confirmed to perform the U.S. national anthem and Canadian national anthem, respectively, at the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. (Billboard)
Aside from those events, additional festivities will go down in Louisiana to honor some hip-hop veterans.
The first ever "All Star Music Experience," produced by MP3Waxx.com and VirDiKO.com, kicks off Friday, Feb. 14th through Sunday, Feb. 16th during All Star weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Radio personalities confirmed to attend include SiriusXM's Nina 9, K Foxx, DJ Bay Bay (Dallas' KKDA K104), Wild Wayne (New Orleans' Q93) and DJ OO Kee (Columbus, Georgia's Foxie 105) and representatives from Atlantic, Def Jam, Columbia, Universal/Republic and RCA Records will be in attendance, for an unbelievable networking event.
