Brooklyn rapper Fabolous is catching heat this week after being singled out for possibly airing New York Knicks guard Raymond Felton's dirty business in his raps.

Some media outlets have pointed out Fab's Felton name-drop on "Cuffin Season" as potential proof of the baller's personal issues.

The marriage between Knicks point guard Raymond Felton and his beautiful wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, crumbled less than 19 months after they wed -- and hip-hop star Fabolous apparently knew there was trouble in paradise. The "Can't Deny It" rapper hinted that Felton, 29, was playing the field behind Raymondo-Felton's back, in his song, "Cuffin Season" with lyrics about promiscuous women he implied Felton had to end relationships with. "4 Celtics, Knicks guard, you know Felton," he sang. "This n--- in Atlanta AirTran her, no Delta. Been naughty all year trying to end it nicely, Summer hoes turning into winter wifeys." Details of Felton's sticky legal situation surfaced online early Tuesday (February 25).

New York Knicks guard Raymond Felton's estranged wife walked his pistol into an NYPD precinct and got the hoops star busted on three gun possession charges. According to NYPD, Ariane Raymondo-Felton brought her husband's semi-automatic Belgian-made pistol into cops -- and early Tuesday morning Ray turned himself in for questioning. He was eventually booked for two felonies -- 2nd and 3rd degree possession of a firearm -- as well as 4th degree possession ... a misdemeanor. (TMZ)

Along with bringing his alleged gun to police, Felton's wife filed for divorce earlier this month.

Felton went to the Manhattan precinct to deal with the gun trouble ... right after the Knicks lost another heart breaker to the Dallas Mavericks. It's unclear at this point why Felton's wife of just 19 months brought the gun to cops. She filed for divorce last week. (TMZ)

Felton's woes follow the Knicks letting go of two key players this week.

The New York Knicks bought out forward Metta World Peace and point guard Beno Udrih. "We are disappointed that it did not work out for Beno and Metta here in New York," Knicks president and general manager Steve Mills said. "We thank them for their contributions this season and wish them well." (ESPN)
