G-Unit's DJ Whoo Kid may have to play savior after publicly reaching out to estranged group member Tony Yayo in light of building retirement speculation.

Whoo Kid reached out to the fellow Queens, New York native and close pal for an update on the situation via Twitter this week.

"Uhm. Wassup? @tonyyayo Im in Europe hearing some stuff.," Whoo Kid tweeted February 20. (DJ Whoo Kid's Twitter)

According to reports, the "Talk of New York" has turned his back on the Unit and is looking at bigger opportunities.

Throughout the years, 50 Cent has had issues with almost every member of G-Unit, including Young Buck and Lloyd Banks. Now Yayo, the one that many thought would stick through thick and thin, also isn't on the best terms with Curtis. "50 ain't rocking with me and Banks the same. I layed my life down for the unit but you live and you learn," quipped Yayo. "Too much stress. I flew the world already. Dropped an album. Time to try new things and the Unit not together. F*ck it." Earlier in the week, the rap veteran posted Twitter remarks about disloyalty.

"It's funny how things and people change where all my so call freinds go.," Yayo tweeted February 19.
"Loyalty get you nowhere in life it's better to be a snake you'll get further trust me ." (Tony Yayo's Twitter)

Last month, Yayo called into Whoo Kid's radio show and spoke on the recent slaying of Unit affiliate Mazaradi Fox.

"It's crazy out here, man," Yayo said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, rest in peace to Mazaradi Fox. Southside all day. You know how it is in these streets, man. Yeah man, it's not a game out there. People's not playing. Sh*t is definitely real. You know? Rest in peace to Fox, condolences to his family, his daughters and everybody. Yeah, man. They only got guns in America. When we go to Paris - they don't have guns over there." ("Whoolywood Shuffle")
