Young Money's Tyga is going to be just over $200,000 poorer in the near future as reports claim a judge has forced the rapper to pay up for previously non-purchased jewelry.
According to reports, the judge's ruling comes roughly two years after Tyga acquired the gems.
Rack city b*tch, rack rack city b*tch ... is what Tyga's former jeweler is more than likely saying -- after a judge ordered the rapper to pay the guy over 200k this week for stealing his jewelry. We broke the story ... Tyga was sued last year by Jason of Beverly Hills -- a famous jeweler who said Tyga never paid $91k for diamond and gold jewelry back in 2012 (a pantheon timepiece and a chain; pictured below). He also wanted a late fee ... which doubled the amount. (TMZ)
Reports claim the rapper must now pay just under $210,000 to put an end to the case.
Tyga tried downplaying the story when the lawsuit was filed, tweeting, "I don't f*k with #bitchn**gas @jasonofbh" ... however, a judge feels like he did eff with Jason ... and entered a default judgement against him. Total judgment: : $208,334.47 Tyga's rep insists this is "all a misunderstanding" and claims they're working to rectify the issue. (TMZ)
Outside of legal woes, the West Coast rap star discussed what fans could expect from his upcoming solo album last fall.
Tyga released his sophomore album Hotel California in April this year but he's already recording his next one, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. The YMCMB rapper's third album is due in stores in Spring of 2014 and yesterday, he stopped by Power 106 to premiere the first single 'Wait for A Minute' featuring Justin Bieber (listen here). He also told this to the radio station: "It's gonna be more kinda how like Careless World, my first album, was... It's way less commercial. I felt like Hotel California was more commercial and I made more radio-type records. This album is straight rap." (HHNM)
Back in April 2013, Tyga's latest solo effort managed to snag a Top 10 debut.
Tyga's Hotel California is taking residency on the charts this week. The third album from the Young Money rapper opens at No. 7. The project sold 54,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The sales are slightly below last year's Careless World: Rise of the Last King, which bowed at No. 4 with 61,000.
